I recently had a problem when a silicon ear plug split and left some of the soft silicon putty deep in my ear. A&E tried but didn't have the correct implement and said either wait a few days and it would work itself out or return in the daytime to A&E when the ENT department was open. Day two ordered this neat little set and on Day 3 the offending blob of silicon was easily removed in under a minute. Rest of the tools have been useful for cleaning the wax out of the kids lugs and a lot better than using a cotton bud which tends to push the problem deeper. Tools are well made solid steel and store in a neat little faux leather pouch. For the price these are a bargain

I know you shouldn't stick things in your ears but this little kit is very effective in extracting troublesome wax. Several different tools included. I recommend you ask someone else to do the fiddling though as you obviously can't see yourself what you're doing and you do not want to damage your ears.

Doesn't get rid of wax. Even when you go right in it just gets a tiny bit. Wouldn't recommend this as its not intended for what it says it is. Its cheap but maybe that's why it doesn't so the job.
