I have always had a hard time sleeping I have crazy night terrors each night and have since I was a kid. I wake up multiple times throughout the night keeping me and my husband awake I am always tired. I decided to get a weighted blanket after years of looking at different brands finally chose this one because of how well the beads are distributed weight wise. They are very even set so one side is always equal to the other. This is a 20lb blanket and man is it heavy the outer cover is very soft and nice and has a zipper on the side so you can wash it as needed. The first few days I had a hard time sleeping with this blanket I won’t lie it was 115 degrees outside and sleeping with a hot blanket took some getting use to. I found having one foot out helped lol.. However by day 4 my body had adjusted!! I am not kidding when I say I slept like a rock! I have now started to wake up at 6am without an alarm and feel like a new women! I waited a full month to give u an honest review this is not the cheapest blanket out there but I would buy it again and again! And again! The design is really important. My nightterroes are at a stand still for now! Let’s hope they stay gone! Hope this review helps others! If you have anxiety I would for sure but this blanket.. or have a kiddo who needs extra TLC at night I would buy the 15lb one for them. My kids love it they keep trying to take naps in my bed now because of this blanket

I thought it was very well constructed but I bought it not knowing it should not be larger than the dimension of your mattress. It was also too hot for me. I returned it but my son LOVES his.

I’ve been researching weighed blankets for a week. Most likely ive reviewed the specs on 20 top brands from $275 to $100. It seems that they are all pretty much the same with different verbiage. The stitching, contents and place of origin are all the same (except Gravity brand...which I’m on backorder. I’ll update once it arrives. *UPDATE — absolutely terrible (7/5/18) The duvet is that of burlap texture. Ugh!This blanket is a GREAT deal with exceptional quality. This one does have the “duvet” I.e. microfiber cover with zipper. (The cheaper ones may not have a cover). The glass beads- or whatever this company calls them- are confined to stitching “zones” and don’t move very much at all. This blanket is quiet as a church mouse and soft. Really soft. The tie downs on the inside are big and easy.Bottom line is, for the price, this blanket is great. Unbelievable soft, shifts as much as you would expect a 20 pound blanket (not much at all) and again - quiet. Makes no noise whatsoever. I mean none. *UPDATE: Gravity brand poly beads are noisier*Read the positive reviews for a good perspective- in my opinion. The other negative reviewers expectations are unrealistic. This has the right “zone” stitching, soft duvet, quiet and...not $269. Exactly what I need :)

The weight shifts inside the blanket too much which results in too much weight in one part of the blanket. There are not enough ties on the inside of the duvet to help counter this phenomenon. It's a well made item but not well designed.At first I liked it but the weight shifting became very annoying. I tried to return the item after 60 days but Miran refused to accept the return.

When I picked up the box I was surprised at how heavy it was. I ordered the 20 lb blanket for weights between 150 to 200 lbs. It was shipped a box in a box so very secure. Since I suffer from insomnia I wanted to give it a try. I have a queen size bed and covers most of the top of the bed. You'll have a few inches left on all sides. They don't want it hanging over the bed since it could fall off. Pleasantly surprised at the comfort you feel with a weighted blanket. I actually want to go to bed earlier now! Gives me a comforting feeling and I am falling asleep faster since using it. I would definitely recommend this to anyone suffering from anxiety, insomnia or just for that secure feeling. Not overwhelming at all. I also suffer from hot flashes but the weight hasn't affected that at all. My only wish is that they would offer it in more colors. 5 stars for this blanket!

The blanket moves around in the coverlet. It is very difficult to get it to lay flat as it bunches up.

I bought this blanket for my son and wanted something of good quality. This blanket fit the bill. The first one I ordered was really to heavy for him so we returned it and bought the same blanket in a 20 lb weight. My son is telling me it is of good weight this time. The company worked with me nicely. I would buy again.

This blanket was awesome. Until after the first week, the stitching came undo and the glass beads came out everywhere. I've been meaning to write this review for a while, but had some medical stuff come up that prevented me from posting.The blanket is amazing, it just seemed that the quality stitching wasn't up to par. :( Cleaning up all the tiny glass beads that were everywhere was not so great.

Nonostante un prezzo decisamente importante ho deciso di regalare questa coperta. Il regalo è stato molto apprezzato la coperta risulta estremamente morbida al tatto e da quella sensazione di peso distribuito sul corpo. Chi ama sentire il peso addosso sarà decisamente contento di questo acquisto. Non è nemmeno eccessivamente calda ovviamente è da preferire nella stagione invernale.

This is my new favourite possession!!! So warm and heavy it sends me straight to sleep :) it’s very comforting and feels like you’re being hugged; as someone who suffers from stress and anxiety my sleep is very irregular. I often wake up with tummy aches or unable to get back to sleep after 4 hours. My first night with this blanket I slept for 9 hours and only woke up twice, being able to roll over and go straight back to sleep! Worth every penny and fully recommend for people who struggle to get to sleep and stay asleep!
