I’ve had a plastic rapala brand for years and it never felt as robust and trustworthy as hoped.I really like the stainless steel longevity and confidence this tool provides. The grip feels good in my hand while the trigger pull is easy and natural.I often get northern pike hitting my lures while bass fishing and there is always stress on getting them off the line and back to fishing.This will be great for handling teethy and/or slimy fish. Would recommend without hesitation. Price is reasonable too!

This fish grip is very ergonomic and very well built. You can tell it's quality by the weight of it and the strength of it in your hand. You can feel the grip has good strength.At the panda fish regularly, there's a little lip going all the way around it. The extra link you get from these fish grips is just enough so you don't have to get on your hands and knees to pick up a fish. You can just bend down, reach right over the lip and grab them with the grips.

These fish lip grippers are made very well. I love the ergonomic handle. I cannot wait to try them out bass fishing this summer. I also am planning on taking them to the beach surf fishing as well. The eleven inch ones seem to be the perfect size for large and small fish. The trigger action will work great not having to touch the fish that I catch in the ocean :D

Product is heavy duty. Nice rubber handle. Good grip strength. Overall a very good product for the price.

This is a good lip grip, I was debating about what style to get and I went with the pistol grip style. In the end I’m glad I did. I like the way this feels in the hand and the ease of one handed operation of the gripper. It looks and feels solid and well built. The only negative thing I can say about it is I wish the metal portion of the gripper extended farther into the handle itself. Overall I would say if you aren’t regularly catching fish that exceed the weight rating of this then it is a nice gripper to go with, especially the pistol grip version. I recommend it.

I've used the to hold large 10 to 18lb Stripers caught on Lake Texoma. Super strong fish that tear up the boat when landed. These are fantastic at lipping and holding big fish. I highly recommend!

Really nice design of this pistol grip lipper. Easier to use then the straight handle type. Clamps on the fishes mouth and is secure until you release it. Very easy to operate and cleans up nicely. Great for lipping fish, picture taking and quick release, or in the bag for dinner. Worth it, great product.
