Really nice looking puzzle when finished. Not for beginners. It's a bit challenging but that's the kind of puzzle I prefer. If you're looking for one with crisp, sharp details this is not for you. I would compare it to a Thomas Kinkade puzzle which the details are not sharp but look rather hazy, almost like there's a film over the picture. I did not have any missing pieces and I never use the letters on the back of a puzzle if they have them. When I purchase a puzzle I want the challenge. The huge poster that comes with is very helpful since this puzzle is mostly variations of blue, some of which are pretty dark and hard to detect edges. The pieces stay together nicely. Just know when you go to take the puzzle apart it will take a little more time than the cardboard pieces of a regular puzzle since these fit together so snugly. The only issue I had with this puzzle was there was one piece the picture on the piece had come off somehow so it was just a blank puzzle piece. I did find it in the box as I worked the puzzle and just glued it back on. You'll really feel like you accomplished something when you finish this puzzle!

I loved that this puzzle was made out of wood and all the pieces were unique.It came with a full size poster and has lettering on the back to make the puzzle less challenging if you get stuck, although I found the different parts of the picture were unique enough to sort and do the puzzle regularly.The picture at the end is really beautiful, which is always a big plus with puzzles.I highly recommend for anyone wanting a little bit of a challenge and a cool picture to put together!

This was a very well-made puzzle with a challenging picture to put together. The back of the puzzle is divided into rectangles coded with letters that can help if you're really stuck and need a little guidance. It's a beautiful picture, but I really struggled with the fact that MANY of the pieces seemed like they fit, when they actually did not (this is where the letter coding on the back became invaluable!), and while the construction was as sturdy as can be, I didn't enjoy the wood pieces. That's probably just my personal preference, but the pieces don't "click" into place, and I almost had to hammer some of them in with my fist (and yes, I was putting them in the right place!). Still, it's a dramatic picture, and the interlocking pieces stick together so well that you can easily pick up the puzzle without it falling apart. An enjoyable endeavor.

My first wooden puzzle, it was a challenge, but for a lifelong 'puzzler', it'll be fun. Great quality all around and looking forward to framing this one.Update:It was so easy it almost put itself together...for anyone who is thinking about trying a puzzle for the first time, this company is where to start, the 'helps' are great! I wish the pieces were sturdier but overall they weren’t bad. The picture is also a little darker than I had anticipated so it can only be hung in a brightly lit room if you’re planning on hanging it. It is very pretty and I am glad I bought it though.

From someone who’s been building puzzles with his Oma and Opa since he was 4, to someone who’s stayed true to Ravensburger into his 30’s, this is a QUALITY puzzle and gift. You pay for what you get, and I’m more than happy with what I got. I can’t wait to show my kids the wonderful world of frustration and satisfaction that is- puzzle building. 3/5 stars, wouldn’t change a thing.

Beautiful puzzle. We finished it last weekend. It was missing 1 piece. I emailed the seller using the sellers email address on the thank you card in the puzzle box. They sent me a brand new puzzle which arrived 3 days later. I didn't want to assemble a new puzzle so I located the missing piece in the replacement puzzle and tried to fit it in the missing space in the assembled puzzle. It was millimeters off so I was able to locate a neighboring piece to the missing piece, and using a nail file, I filed the pieces down slightly to get as perfect fit as I could. Worked out pretty good. I gave 5 starts event hough a piece was missing because the company replaced the puzzle quickly. Without hassle. Not to mention it was fun and turned out gorgeous!
