This is a review of "FOOGO Green 50pcs 10oz Disposable Paper Coffee Cups, Strong Triple-Wall Brown Paper Cups, for Hot Drinks, Heat-Resistant Ripple Design, Takeaway Coffee Cups, Party Cups, Eco-Friendly Compostable".These arrived in a clear polyurethane bag.I have to say that these appear to be top quality disposable cups. The triple wall works really well in terms of insulating the drink and stopping you getting hot fingers from holding your coffee. They are quite a robust design - so much so that I'd be tempted to reuse in certain circumstances, after a quick rinse.The fact that they are eco-friendly and compostable is a nice bonus.The advert states that lids are available for purchase separately - but I cannot find them listed on Amazon - only another item which is the same cups with lids. Lids would make them great for taking a coffee out in the car but I will still make great use of these in the summer.- - - - - - - - - -Note: As a member of the Vine program I was supplied with this item free of charge. I chose these cups without plastic lids as my main reason for using them is to cater for guests indoors - so the lids aren't needed and of course it avoids the waste of single-use plastic. That said, the cups arrived in a plastic film outer bag - while this can be recycled in bigger towns, I would have preferred card or paper packaging.The cups themselves are excellent, with sturdy bases and rims that are comfortable for drinking from, and s good layer of brown waffle insulation. They don't seem to soak through too quickly, unlike some more flimsy paper cups. The size is 8oz or about 250ml - a good teacup/small mug size, not a Grande, so well suited to providing tea and coffee on a domestic scale.It's too soon for me to tell you whether the claims about being compostable are accurate but I will be trying out this method of disposal on my compost heap - as they end up food-contaminated it may be a better way to recycle them than by putting them in the paper recycling. Of course using any kind of disposable product is not the most eco-friendly activity but these offer a less damaging option when reusable dishes are not available or not feasible.

These cups are 12oz, which in coffee shop terms means 'large' or 'tall'. You can get a lot of drink in these cups.I found them very hard to remove, they come packed so tightly you have to wrestle each cup out. I have not had this before with other disposable coffee cups I've purchased.This is obvious but these cups do not come with lids.The insulation on the cup is good, they have ridges which do a fair job of keeping the heat from burning your fingers. They are not the best insulation I've had on cups before (the ridges aren't as deep as some competitors are), but likewise they aren't the worst. Brilliant, strong pack of heat resistant cups in a large size, these are just the thing for days out, taking in the motorhome/camping, parties, barbeques, using at work, etc. They are easy to stack and store, have a good thick ripple/ corrugated outer side which means they can hold your coffee, your cuppa, hot chocolate, cup soup etc without you getting burnt fingers - you can still feel the warmth through them, which is nice on cold days as well, but they don't warp, they are leak proof, and being this thick means they keep your drink warm for longer as well. Obviously you could put cold drinks in them too, but they're specially designed for hot drinks. The rim where you drink from is a good thickness, and overall these are excellent quality - another benefit is that they are eco-friendly. They don't come with lids, but that's fine. they are still good value, and lids are available from the same manufacturer if you want them. My family and I often use this kind of cup, and we think these are great - I would be happy to buy again.

These are good, solid, practical cups that work well for events and parties, and are compostable, as they should be!They are sturdy, and the triple wall works well to keep the heat from burning your hand (despite not being obviously that thick). They don't squash easily in the hand, and are so strong that I managed to use it two days running and it still looked like new. They are big enough for a decent cup of tea - about the right size for most events, unless people like really big coffees.They aren't cheap (8.99 for fifty at time of writing) compared to buying in more bulk, but for a smaller quantity it's ok.I'm using these for a regular tea and coffee event, and they are perfect.
