I was really disappointed in this one, so yes I'm a GOVEE lover, and I'm heavy invested in the eco system, so i bought the 65inch version for another TV and this size for a spare tv which is 50inch, which told me to buy the 50inch. So i did .Now what i didn't check out my fault is thou which you would think upon buying the same item is for the tvs but smaller, oh NO GOVEE have cut the scenes on the 50” inch tv size why ? When it’s meant to be exact same product but just for a smaller a tv.But you actually get an inferior product with the 50inch version.GOVEE should list all scenes with each product on the listing so you actually know what you’re getting instead of saying 65 scenes including or 95 scenes included etc.Because had i known that comedies scene wasn't available on the smaller set i wouldn't have purchased these, i would have bought a strip light instead for the tv set. Which Is what i did for my other new tv set knowing this.So the mode i took a picture of is GOVEE answer to them adding in a scene compatible to comedies . While that scene is very nice its not no comedies scenes. Its a rainbow 2 scene,Why should we get less scenes just for buying the smaller TV size for the correct tv that GOVEE tells you to buy.GOVEE tells you to buy that size but are ripping you off . So if you have 50-55 inch tv buy the bigger size set it wont make no difference it will just mean the strips will go all the way to the end and not fall short like in the picture where u can see a drop in colour towards the edge of the tv screen.Where the edge hasn't gone all the way.Plus you will get all the scenes with the bigger set. I feel this is sneaky under handed tactic to do by them too give you less. When they could clearly put in the same scenes.Now the good part they apply easily they don't go all the way to the edge if you want this size up to the next size . the quality is second to none its a GOVEE product has usual, there bright and stick extremely well and connected easily to the app. The colours are extremely bright , connected on 2.4ghz wifi also bluetooth, . I got these for £15 in the sale . So worth there money but tbh i would have rather bought a strip version which i did for my next new tv that way i had the lights going round to the edge plus i had more scenes to go at, because i connect them to other products . But if you have one item in each room and thats a you issues then these are a bargain . But i still say buy the 65inch tv size so you get edge to edge anyway especially if you have 55inch tv . would i buy this product again ? NO due to less scenes and no lack of edging on the strips doesn't light all the way to the end which is noticeable on lighting .Connection is stable depending on wifi connection .

Easy to install and connect, 2.4 metre is just about the right length for a 50 inch TV. Much brighter than RGB lights and the Govee app is so intuitive with lots of options. The power cable is around 2 metres long and connection is far more reliable than the previous USB powered Govee TV lights.Definitely recommend these with the TV bar lights from the same company as well.

These are fab, gives a really nice look when watching tv and you can change the scene, colour options to suit the mood or film genre… we did however have an issue after 6month whereby they stopped working (we have another tv that has had the same for over three years and no issues at all with those) . I contacted Govee and their after sales service is second to none, would definitely buy from them again 😊😊

I just wanted some back lights for our new whizz bangy telly box! These arrived, ok fit and stick well, instructions? Oh I need to download an APP(to switch on some lights??) cut to chase, a complicated ridiculous set up of a mini social media account, full of everyone's daft lights ideas...why?You can control from phone for on/off also from master button on back of telly, so I do! I messed about with the app, changing the lights sequences and colour patterns then "saved" my choices to "my colours" .....which I promptly lost within the mess of the other stuff on the app and never saw again...... Utterly hilarious, why do companies over think simple gadgets nowadays? Are they all hoping to be the next Facebook? Very exp naive for a string of fairy lights, but stuck on my telly now so impossible to return without possible damage to my telly! Govee,please note, only children think it's fun to mess about with flashing lights whilst watching TV, probably with expensive string of lights bought by? The adults. Recommended? Not on your nelly!!! Get some from high street bargain shop , same lights without the ridiculous price tag and useless add on social media APP.

These are very good, had an issue with my order but Govee sorted it very quickly. I found this size much more suited to a 55inch tv than the ones stated for that size. The app is also very good

Amazing, you won’t get better quality than grovee and I highly recommend
