Lightening the load for runners
This backpack has been a revelation for my running and hiking adventures, offering an almost weightless option to carry essentials, including hydration. The fit is customizable, which means no awkward bouncing or shifting, allowing me to focus on my activity. Hydration is conveniently on hand, encouraging me to stay hydrated without breaking stride. Quite comfortable
I chose this vest as i am training for a 50km walk this summer and i thought this would be a better way of staying hydrated as I will probably want to carry walking poles so holding a bottle in my hand won't be very practical.Having never used a hydration vest before I will admit it presented a bit of an intelligence test to get it set up! I could have done with a simple instruction leaflet, probably most people figure this out themselves and I was probably being a bit daft. Either way, eventually i got it filled, inserted into the bag and found how to connect the long hose through a hole in the strap so you can close the bag neatly around the bladder. Next hurdle - how to drink through it... there is a valve thing in the end of the hose which is not immediately obvious, you just slide it backwards and then you can drink.Overall i'm quite pleased with this and the pack is fairly comfortable. It's not a massive capacity but I will be able to refil it on my walk so it's adequate I think, and I like to travel fairly light so there's just enough space for some snacks and other bits and bobs in the bag too.

No awkward water bottle when running
Easy to carry, no awkward bottle on the run now. Stops the kids pinching the bottle and keeps them up with me - they won't miss out on their drink!

comfy and adjustable
It's incredibly lightweight and fits snugly, so it doesn't bounce around while I'm on the move. The hydration pack is fantastic, keeping me hydrated without having to carry a separate water bottle. The multiple pockets are great for storing essentials like keys, phone, and snacks, keeping them easily accessible. It's comfortable to wear, even for extended periods, thanks to the adjustable straps and breathable material. It works great for any outdoor activity where I need to stay hydrated and carry some essentials.

Defective strap out of the bag
Literally took it out of the bag and one of the key arm fasteners was totally detached from the fabric. What a joke. Do not buy this.

Lightweight (200/318g); fits the essentials
Weighs 318g with the empty bladder; 200g without. The design is sensible. There are two adjustable chest straps that can be set of a wide range of positions from high sternum to below the ribs. The straps are likewise adjustable, and include ties to contain the loose ends. All contact areas are mesh, with lightweight, stretchy fabric for most of the pockets.Although it is black, there is plenty of reflective areas around it, including the elasticated strap at the back. The bladder is held well on each side by velcro tabs - see product video - although there is a rather generous length of hose; I will shorten mine and save some weight once I've decided on a comfortable length. The bladder itself has a rolltop, making for easier cleaning, though the material itself is very lightweight; it's just thick plastic rather than TPU. I suspect that it will be replaced by a higher quality version, though I do like how lightweight it is.In terms of storage, in addition to the bladder, there is space for waterproofs, a few bars or gels and a mobile in the main back pocket. Behind this a larger item could be held on with the elasticated straps. Both shoulders have pockets that will accommodate 500ml flexible bottles, and both have pockets that could fit a mobile or some snacks. On the left strap there is also a small zipped pocket suited to keys, though it wouldn't fit most phones.

Lightweight, comfortable
It's a lightweight vest with room for a bladder and 2 further pockets at the front which you will see I was able to easily fit 2 good sized bottles into. There are also 2 smaller zipped pockets for keys and some personal items. This comes with a 1.5l bladder which has not got a filling hole; it opens only from the top which is good for cleaning but a bit difficult when filling it up.It has adjustable straps to help get the fit right. I have a 42-inch chest and I was able to get this vest on comfortably. I got it secure to my body and it didn't jump around at all whilst jogging. Even the water bottles stayed put. It's a good vest.
