KohlerKohler K-76336-CP Gooseneck rainhead arm with 3-Way Diverter, Polished Chrome Finish

The only reason I bought this is because literally noone else makes a gooseneck shower arm with a diverter for a handheld - it boggles my mind how they can charge that much money and not include any way to actually install this without going to the hardware store and purchasing more pipe (wall is female this piece is female - you will need a male only threaded 1/2" pipe) - like I said I'm stuck with this because noone else makes them but shame on Kohler for not including what is actually needed to use it in the box for the outrageous price they charge

We are very happy with this 3-way shower arm. It was paired with an American Standard 10 inch rainshower head (1660.683.002) and the Speakman VS3000-E2. Our home has well water with softener with about 50 PSI water pressure. The flow is good when selecting the rainshower or handheld. The pressure reduces a little when both are on but that is to be expected. I did add a KES KUS1140B shower head shut off valve on the Speakman's handle so I can control the flow of both devices with it and keep the Kohler's setting on both devices all the time. I did remove the rubber washer with net, as I don't want to remove the arm just to clean it should it ever get clogged. Overall, we enjoy the look and extra distance the gooseneck provided.

As others have stated, you will need a 1/2' nipple. I believe the reason it is not included is because the nipple length will vary depending on how the deep the supply fitting was installed. With the design, you want to have the threads extend no more or less than 1/2" from the wall. The included trim plate is the diameter of the diverter section, not the 1/2" pipe. If not the exact amount of exposed pipe, it won't trim with the provided trim plate.

I looked at tens of options to achieve the look and performance I wanted for my shower. All of the other hardware in my bathroom was Kohler, and I decided to spend the money and avoid cheaper options. I am glad I did. The item is clearly high quality, with a beautiful chrome mirror finish, and the mechanics are precise. This is a high quality product, and therefore it is not inexpensive.

Very expensive for what it is but I don't understand why there's nothing else like it on the market

Very well made. Solid construction, excellent chrome finish, smooth valve action. Good documentation allows for planning before arrival.

Very happy. Looks great, great craftsmanship. I hadn't really thought about the three way control but really like it.It was worth what I paid for it.
