Wanted to replace an older 4 burner grill with something smaller, but not too portable. Didn't want a stainless grill (too hard to maintain and are flimsy thin), and really wanted cast iron grates.This is a well cast and finished aluminum. The grates are indeed a good cast iron. The whole design of this grill is well thought out and manufactured.Took about 15 minutes to put together, and, because of its shape it would have gone quicker with a second set of hands. I seasoned the grates with a high smoke point oil in the oven.The pizio ignighter worked first time and every time. I put a 5 foot hose on for a 20 lbs tank. Works great....Just finished my first rib eye steak and am very very pleased. I let it warm up for 10 minutes and got a beautiful sear (and didn't stick). Left the lid open for steak, and it did not lose heat. The burner tube's layout, the flame shield, and the shape of the fire bowl heats the cooking surface more evenly than I could have hoped for.Definitely a great value for My money.Update: Submitted some photos. I failed to mention how nice the grease trap is. It's powder coated and super sweet to clean. I kept the stand from my old 4 burner grill, and trimmed out and mounted an old sink 'blank' for a nice cart.... I am proud...

Just received this Nexgrill 1-burner grill today, assembled in about 15 minutes. I have not cooked anything yet, but my first impression is the grill is extremely well-made - reminds me of my old Weber full size. Assembly was easy with good instructions. The grill appears to be sturdy, and lighted up with a single click of the igniter. It heated on high very quickly, even to the point the heat shield was glowing red, so I do NOT believe "low" heat will be an issue. Will see tomorrow how it performs on some hamburgers with the flame turned down a bit.My favorite part is the grill is only 16 lbs, which is highly mobile and perfect for RV usage.I also purchased a griddle that replaces one of the grids (SAF-B-QUE) so that is pretty cool.Wish me luck with my burgers !

I have 2 of these grilles I eat home and at the cabin small heavily built easy to clean and use great for a couple just the rite capacity good value

We love barbeque and wanted a smaller portable barbeque grill to take camping.The grill to griddle feature sold me. Griddle for eggs breakfast in the morning and then covert to grill for barbeque later. Griddle stores under the grill when not in use or when traveling.It arrived on time and was easy to assemble.It has worked perfectly right out of the box.It puts out plenty of heat.It is on the heavy side at 29lbs. But the quality is there and should last a long time.I would have liked for it to have "flame tamers" to even out the heat and protect the burners from drips and spills etc.I'm glad I made this purchase.

We are amazed at what a great little bbq this is. Perfect for van life, with is compact size.

What I initially thought was a great little grill for my porch turned into a hassle that will probably leave a bad taste from my customer service experience while trying to register it's warranty.I filled out the warranty form and could not find the serial number. I called the Nextgrill customer service number and after about a two minute hold, I advised the rep that all I needed was to find the serial number. He said "It's on a sticker on the inside of one of its legs. I looked and no sticker. He said it has to be and it's on the inside of one of the grill's legs. I looked again only this time I took the cast iron grates out. I looked inside and outside the legs, the grill itself andthe handles. This time, the left leg collapsed while I was looking for the serial number. Still no sticker. On the outides of the grill legs are instructions in three different languages. Well lo and behold, under the three lines of information on the outside of the third language is a very long very tiny serial number.I told the rep that for future avoidance of irritating his customers, please advise them where the number is actually located. He was condescending and said he only had a diagram to go by. I said can't you just finish the registration now?He then told me to finish my registration on line and send him my invoice. I asked how and he said he'd send me an email to complete the registration.Now I am waiting for instructions to complete the registration for my brand new grill with a bent left leg.It's funny how something so simple can and will affect my grilling in the future. I hope the leg doesn't break when I try to straighten it.Hopefully one great steak will erase the bad taste from my customer service experience.

The grill is fine. The only problem is that the handle was broken.They promptly sent me a new one. Only problem is that the handleon the new one was also broken. Crazy, I gave up. I will just havea grill with one good handle.
