After a lot of research I bought this product expecting that this will solve all the purposes of a smart door lock.I received the product in damaged condition. The display unit was broken. I raised a complaint in this regard and I was promised a replacement of the display unit. The said replacement took more than a month's time and the new replaced display unit was again damaged. I raised a complaint again and another replacement of display unit was promised. This time the replacement took more than 3 months and I had to keep on following up and I was being given assurances and promises that were not being fulfilled. Ultimately, after a heated conversation the display unit was received.Now, that the display unit was working, I realised that the camera quality is way too poor, the display unit is not at all useful. Moreover, the footage of the camera is not received in the mobile app unless someone from outside presses the bell button on the lock which never happens.Further, The product description mentions that the said lock can be operated via Mobile app. it is not completely true. I cannot lock the door using mobile app, if left unlocked. I can only open the lock using mobile app if the person at the door presses the BELL button on the door lock, which usually no one does as no new person knows about such button.The fingerprint sensor takes a few seconds to get verified and there is a delay in unlocking, same is the case with face recognition, rather, face recognition is even slower.The allover build quality of the product is very poor and in specific the display unit is very delicate.And if you live at a high rise or anywhere where there are strong winds and there are chances of door getting shut because of wind this clumsy, poor quality door lock is not at all recommended because even with not a very hard blow the display unit can get broken if the door gets closed with a soft thud.

I had purchased this golens X95 smart lock through Amazon after much comparing with other brands available today in the market. I was kind of satisfied with the customer review in Amazon and more when got prompt callback asking about my enquiry. I ordered this lock with a good discount on Amazon and it was promptly delivered with a nice packing. The fitment was arranged through their carpenter at an additional cost which was really an excellent job done. Thanks to the tie-up which golens has with the local carpenters here in Chennai. The person who did Install my door lock was mr. Babu and I will give him 5 stars for a neat job done The lock is now almost a month and a half old and is working very well. The finger print sensors are doing a great job and after fitting this lock in my main door , I should really say that I am quite satisfied with the performance meeted out so far. The guarantee given to me is 2 years whereas other brands are offering only a year. Out of good faith and interest , I got an extended warranty for 6 more months. All the people that I had interacted with while fitting the lock and after when I had some doubts to clarify were really helpful. To name a few were, mr. Modi, mr.dinish, mr.kamal, mr.vipin. I should also say that the customer after sales service is being handled very well by the person incharge mr. Kamal. He called me to enquire about my locks performance which I really am happy with. The style and design finish of the lock is also very nice and sleek. I am hoping that this lock from golens will continue to meet my expectations in the coming day's / years.
