Connecticut Electric UBIP-115, One Pole 15 Amp, See Image

I purchase two 15A breakers, along with five 20A breakers and one double 20A breaker to replace old Pushmatic breakers that were unreliable and difficult to turn on and off. Immediately after installing the first 20A breaker, it would not stay in the on position. I am returning all eight breakers as I have no confidence in the long-term safety or reliability of any of them. All eight were just thrown in a padded paper mailer without additional protection. The set screws that hold the wire in place had fallen out on three and was trapped in the bottom of the mailer where they could easily be missed. The hole in the tab did not align with the hole in the bus bar and would require modification to allow connection.

It looks like a good breaker and “feels” good. Solid and firm action.I keep a spare since the design is not in common use any more and used the one I had a couple of weeks ago.So I really cannot give a good review but this breaker appears identical to the one I replaced and seems to be comparable qualityI hesitate to recommend changing it yourself but I am an amateur although I have changed 4 or 5 breakers over the last 50+ years and it is very easy to do

I purchased four of these to replace the ones in my garage box from the 1960s. Everything installed without incident and mounting screw lined up perfectly. Great product, great deal. I would highly recommend these.

These units are manufactured by Connecticut Electrical. The breaker will either come in a clear package with green printing or without the plastic packaging. The difference is the plastic bag ones are sold as one single item and the other ones came from a box of 10. Each one regardless should have a piece of tape holding the mounting screw in place.Regardless, the unit is a direct replacement for the old bulldog/Pushmatic units. I did not have to alter or remove any plastic tabs off the back end in order for the unit to seat properly; others have mentioned this.It’s always best to upgrade your panel, but if you want to maintain your current one, these appear to be good quality and made in Connecticut USA.

Not the same color as pictured but works 100%. Less than 5 minutes to swap and solved the problem of 14 gauge on 20 amp breaker. If you have double tap problems in your box order a couple Piggybacks. these save the day for older homes with Pushmatic Panels.

When I ordered them on 11/18/21, it said it will arrive on same day but it was delivered today 11/19/21 one day after. Not a deal breaker but after opening the package I found one of the breaker is damaged. Look at the photo.

Had a few bad ones and missing screws, we buy these often and you have to TEST THEM and inspect them when you get them for missing screws and that the push in and out catches. 50/50 shot people, good luck.

Home depot wanted $55 a breaker.... I know they're not used anymore but come on people.All came loose in a standard bubble wrap envelope. Appears a little greasy, but we'll see how they work. Will update if any issues.
