Good stuff if you're medicating your fish.
Hi everyone! When I first started keeping fish (in my case, Cherry Barbs), I was a total rookie. After having had fish for some time, I got a problem with fungus. I didn't know then - but I do now - that when medicating, it's a good idea to put tonic salt in the tank as well. Apparently, it helps the medication to work.Since then I've discovered that there's absolutely no harm in adding salt when changing the water. The fish like it, and it seems to be keeping the fungi at bay. This is a good way to buy the salt, a tub lasts for ages! This is only the second on I've had to buy in 2+years.

Unsuitable packaging
This product consists of very fine spheres of salts. The weight was about 1.5 Kg of tonic salts in a very thin and very brittle pot. The outer Amazon packaging was undamaged but the postman advised that something (the salt spheres) wwew coming out around the joins in the outer box. The first picture was taken immediately upon opening the outer box. There was salt everywhere, even in the box of another item, although this did not damage that item. The clear plastic tub is far too brittle for this product. Just the shock of the parcel being dropped could have caused the pot to crack, even without damage to the outer packaging. Requested a "no return" refund. Not buying again.
