Excellent Product, Outstanding Customer Service
While having our front doors refinished, I decided to replace the old door sweeps which had become worn and frayed. The KS double bubble sweeps were more expensive than most but they seemed to be far better engineered. That was confirmed when I received them. They’re super rugged, easy to install, and they fit perfectly.I wanted to closely match the color of the screw covers to the color of the door but I realized as soon as I’d spray painted them that the paint I’d used was much too dark. Rather than try to remove the paint, which would have been a mess, I contacted KS about getting a couple of replacement strips. They responded within a few hours, offering to ship new strips for the cost of postage only and before the end of the day, the package was in transit.I highly recommend the product and company and will not hesitate to buy from them again in the future.

More expensive but worth the price
The unit is sturdier than replacement bottom door seals available at the home centers. Should hold up much better when it gets bumped by a boot in the extreme cold weather. The double "bubble" on the bottom is better at sealing out air than a door sweep that has just fins - like the one that came with the door and which this replaced. It also means we didn't have to jam the sweep down to make sure there was a good seal. Slid it on the door. Drilled a couple new holes. Shut the door and gently push down until the seal contacts the door frame saddle. Tighten the screws. Open and close a few times to check that it doesn't bind or leave any gaps. Then slide on the screw-hide cover inside and you're good. To those who complained that the slide on cover that hides the screws "didn't fit" and they had to force it on, here's a hint: It means you pushed down harder on the seal in some parts than others along its length and tightened it in place. This means there is a "wave" in the door mounted part that you're trying to force a straight cover onto. To fix, lay a straight edge along the top of the mounted part of the door seal (the slide on cover will suffice). Then loosen the screws, releasing the waviness. Press down on the straight edge to uniformly snug the seal onto the saddle, and then tighten the screws (from the center outward is usually easier). Your screw cover will slide on easily with only a couple light taps needed for final adjustment. Bought one to test and was so pleased ordered more for the rest of the doors in the house.

NO water leaks under the door.
Have tried several bottom door seals with poor results. They all leaked water under the door, except this one.!!! Its twin rubber bubble it makes a perfect water tight seal. Installation was pretty intuitive, be sure to push the seal down evenly onto the sill before drilling mount holes and securing it in place. Sliding the decorative cover on is a chore, expect to use a rubber hammer to aid getting it all the way on (installation reduced to 4 stars). The door in question faces south into prevailing winds and gets heavy rain when the squall lines come rolling through. True it’s a lot more money than its competitors, but in this case you get what you pay for.

AMAZING
I am a licensed contractor, used many door sweeps in my day. I usually buy the cheap ones at HD or Lowes and have to cut them and they are flimsy. Initially I thought the price was high but this is for my own house and I am glad I spent the money. Well worth it. No need to cut the length or the underside, it fits perfect. Great design, highly recommend.

Nice quality
… but, I wish they wouldn’t have cut the outside so short. This is for our inside door leading to garage. Was not able to use the rain guard part to cover up how short they cut the other side. Had to drill new holes since it doesn’t line up with the original holes. It makes the door hard to close even pushed all the way up. The contractors who built our home put the door in super crooked since they also didn’t put the drywall in straight the door frame is not square. We added new hinges and new insulation plus this. Outside of machining issues and being cut too short on one side, it still looks better than what the contractors who built it gave us. Hoping over time the rubber compresses a bit so we can close the door normally again. It seems to help with drafts but is really a tight fit and makes the door hard to close.

Extraordinarily effective
I've had this installed for about 4 months now. Summary: It was an extremely good purchase. Enough for me to write this review. This was for a garage side door that had about a 3/4" gap between the sill and the bottom of the door. The garage is heated and it is where we sleep our dogs. I had tried other door skirts and was getting resigned to needing a Door Sock, which you have to move and place each time your open the door. But then I tried this one. What a difference. The temperature in the garage jumped to within 1 degree of the main house, even in sub-freezing weather. Older, less effective sweeps would let the garage fall 6-8 degrees below the house; you could feel the cold getting in, and it was from that door gap.Installation was straightforward. The height is easily adjustable and covers a very wide range, easily closing my gap problem. The multiple bottom seals are very effective and were set to be just-the-right-snug, offering extra protection against pests, which was a bonus. But the big win was stopping the cold air drafts. This item was worth the extra cost. It's hard to quantify in engineering terms, but I''ll bet this sweep is 10x more effective at stopping drafts than cheaper single sweep solutions due to the better fit and seals. At least for me.And my dogs stay warm. Yay!

local suppliers of quality products
The sweepers were a perfect fit for my backyard door as old ones tore and let rain puddle go through them. Easy to install as well. Turned out the seller is located in my neighborhood, felt good to buy from a local business.

Works great!
I recently received the KS Hardware Adjustable Double Bubble Door Sweep and I am beyond impressed with its performance. The installation was quick and easy and the adjustable feature allowed me to get a perfect fit for my door. The double bubble design is very effective in blocking out drafts, dust, and noise. I have noticed a significant reduction in air leaks and a noticeable increase in energy efficiency. The material is durable and well-made and it has held up perfectly despite daily use. I love the sleek design, it looks great on my door and does not detract from its appearance. I highly recommend this door sweep to anyone looking for an effective and affordable solution to reducing energy costs and improving indoor comfort. It is a 5-star product!

A durable door sweep / draft stopper that looks nice
I purchased this door sweep to replace an existing one that had worn out. Living in Canada, drafty doors waste heat and lead to chilly indoor temperatures during the cold winter days.Although this item costs more than many other options I particularly liked the design of the weather strip as the bulb shaped draft seals are not prone to breakage compared to the door sweeps that have flexible fins which provide the bottom seal. It was very simple to install and adjust the position so that the sweep seals properly along the threshold. The snap-on cover hides the mounting screws so that the installed sweep has a nicely finished appearance. It was well worth the extra money.

Great for 32 inch!
We have a smaller door than most, and at the big box stores, they only sell for 34 inch doors which means we had to cut it, the holes were not evenly spaced and it fell apart after a couple months. Came across this one and thought we would try the repair once again. So happy we did! Beautiful quality, soft secure close, even a gaurd to hide the finishing screws...so amazing it is like having a brand new door. No more loud scrapes as we enter and leave and no 5000 expense to get a new door installed. Highly recommend. Worth the price.
