This paddle comes with a grip tape, a neoprene cover, and a paddle eraser. It has a 16.1 mm thick raw carbon fiber face with the highest friction surface of any raw carbon fiber paddle I've ever used. This extra friction really soaks in the pickleballs, so the eraser is really handy. I played with the paddle for a few hours and you can see the before and after erasing pictures. The eraser is typical; I've reviewed a dozen of these and they are all about the same except for shape and color. The factory grip was not installed all the way over the points of the butt cap, which can be corrected by re-applying the grip on installing an overgrip. However, the exposed butt cap points weren't as sharp as Gamma's, who also left theirs uncovered. The paddle also came with a weird smudge on the Q logo on one side (see photo) but that's purely cosmetic.The paddle is an elongated shape measuring 16 1/2" by 7 3/8" with a 4 1/2" long handle (I measure to the bottom of the tape/rubber band holding the grip on.) The padded grip has firm ridges and measures 4 5/8" around. While the numbers for the overall size of the paddle printed on the face match, my paddle weighs only 7.69 oz. which is over 1/2 oz. less than the 8.3 printed on the paddle face. I actually prefer a lighter paddle, so this is a good thing. The paddle has a large forgiving sweet spot and generates relatively low ball noise. I did notice during play that it has a very small "extra sweet" spot that generated a lot more pop if I hit it right in the center of the paddle, which was a little less consistent than the rest of the paddle; this resulted in a couple of unexpectedly long hits as I adjusted to the paddle.Overall this paddle has good power, great spin, and great control at the kitchen line. It would be difficult to find a better playing paddle at this price range.Unfortunately, this paddle is NOT USAPA approved, which means you can't use it in sanctioned tournaments. Many paddles that claim to be approved are not, but you can easily check the approved paddle list or the USAPA website.

The handle fits my had just right, it’s light but sturdy and plays well.
