Trayvax Original 2.0 Metal Wallet

Live and learn my fellow men! If I have to “get used to this” as many reviews stated it is not for me! This is a wallet not a flute!I went against those reviews and purchased this, dear Lord what a mistake!Guys, i am borderline impatient, this pos cuts the border down without a problem! I will not bore you like some do with their phony calculus equations stating this is a worthy product!Someones wife made this to torture men!This is headed for the “useless holster” drawer!Buy yourself a rubber band!

Keep in mind I owned version 1.0 so I am already used to a Trayvax wallet. I will say first off those who complain about v2, how difficult it is to use, haven’t really used it long enough. This is WORLDS better than v1 and v1 for me was my swearing off mainstream wallets forever! Trayvax wallets are amazingly efficient in how they are used and how they store cards and cash. I also attached a rubberized tether to it (I had a bad habit of losing my wallet) and because it’s so small, it’s easy to keep in a front pocket out of easy reach of pickpockets...and of course preventing sore butt cheeks from sitting in wallets. I’d highly recommend a Trayvax. They’re very well made and made in the US and the customer service is awesome as well. You can’t go wrong!!

I needed a new wallet when my dog chewed up my fine leather one. I really only carry cards in my wallet, so that was my main focus. The adjustability of this wallet really is important to me because I carry at least 10 cards. I really don't care for the money clip as I find it just makes it a little more difficult to easily slip the wallet into my front pocket and it also breaks up the visual streamlined look. If I'm gonna carry money, I'll just carry it in my front pocket, loose. I'm uncertain if sliding credit cards in/out will have any effect on the magnetic strip, only time will tell. Other metal wallets I considered were too limiting in their number of cards carried or I might have gone with one of those instead.It should be noted most metal wallets require you to remove all your cards and rifle through them to find what you want. I like the sliding feature of this wallet.

I've had so many leather bifold wallets. They're thick, they can damage your cards, and they fall apart with time. I finally decided to try something a bit more heavy duty, and I think this is definitely it. The metal is extremely sturdy, the paracord and clasp mechanism are high quality, and I am getting used to it very quickly. I currently have 9 cards and 7 bills in it and it definitely has room for more. It's seems it may be a bit heavier than my old setup, but definitely slimmer in every dimension. I can't decide if the excess paracord bothers me, but I may cut it a bit shorter eventually.

I've only had this wallet for about 3 weeks, but so far I love it! I tried one of the Fidelo wallets which was nice. It was small, well-made, and looked great, but I really didn't like the elastic bands. My cards would constantly shift while the wallet was in my pocket and i felt like they were going to come free from the wallet. There wasn't much to keep them inside. With the Trayvax wallet everything is very secure because the cords run along all 4 sides of the wallet. There's no way anything is escaping the wallet while it's in your pocket. I have about 12 cards in mine at the moment and I could probably get 12 more in there if I really wanted to. I noticed some people complain about adjusting the cords. It's not that hard and you should really only need to do this once in a blue moon unless you're constantly changing the amount of cards you carry. Also, I saw some other complaints with cards getting scuffed up by the wallet, I believe that is only an issue with the original Trayvax and not the 2.0 version because I have not had this problem at all. I like that it can be attached to a lanyard as well. This wallet seems to be made extremely well and compared to a lot of other wallets the price is very reasonable. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a metal, front pocket wallet.

It’s still pretty new to me, but I’m getting used to it. The one main thing I don’t like is how much bulkier the paracord makes this thing. It nearly doubles the width of what otherwise would be a very slim wallet.

This is an excellent wallet, high quality. I bought the Infantry blue one and it looks great!The only thing I can think of that I find odd is how small it is and only holds 6 cards, so if you carry more things than that in your wallet you'll not like this model. I'm going to solve the problem by buying another one, which I don't mind at all, they are very well made and the price is not too high for what you get.
