KTI (KTI-70081) Brake Line Flaring Tool

Why do the punches have metric and standard stamped on them, (3/16 has m5) 3/8 has m10 (5/16 has m8) 1/4 has m6 all punched on them

On 3/8 line. i cannot get the line to stay in the die. it keeps slipping out and make a bad flair. both steel and nicop.any tips?

This tool is not for glaring brake lines already installed on car? Must flare off car on vice?

This is the same as the easwood? it comes with a storage case and stuff??
