Good Value at the price
Easy to assemble and fit. A bit noisy even with the cover under the bar to stop any wind whistle fitted. For the price can't go wrong. Way cheaper than the proper ones (£240+)

Smart looking, robust and easy to install
Roof bars seem like a real racket; the named brand (either car manufacturer or Halfords) are so unnecessarily expensive. I wanted something that looked inoffensive as I can’t be bothered to take them on and off, and we’re robust, but most of all good value. These tick all the boxes, and if you’re someone prone to buying secondhand furniture or picking up wood for garage projects, it’s great to have these on, and a couple of rachet straps in the back.Just make sure you don’t forget to put on the rubber strips that close the open edge underneath; my wife drove to work down the motorway without them and said it was like someone whistling/screaming in her ear all the way!

Good value, solid build, bit of a faff to put on
These summit bars are nicely built, pretty low to the roof (lower than some others, which is a good thing?), once on feel really secure. Rather than use any kind of locating numb or pin, you just put 'em on as straight as you can and just have to follow the diagrams as to how far forward/back on the car they should go.I got spoilt for my last set of bars - a Thule setup on an audi where there are locating pins and quick release levers - an alan key was only needed for initial setup. Taking these summit bars off the car requires an alan key and refitting will be quite involved again. If you only put the roof bars on once and leave them there, or only use them very infrequently, my complaints won't make much difference. If you wanted the flexibility of regularly throwing them on the car quickly and will no faff, i would advise you take the time and shop around to see if you can get more car specific ones.

Completely useless
Allegedly this product will fit to Ford Galaxy 2010 - 2015 roof rails, as soon as you attempt to do so it is obvious that the profiles are all wrong and instead of gripping the rails it just rides up over them as you try to attempt to tighten the screws up.It is cheaper than a Thule rack for a good reason, because it is poorly made and useless.
