If you liked the first one, you'll like this one too!
Honestly, I'm shocked. My son and I laughed quite a bit at the first movie, and still bring it up now and then (usually by simply saying "flebby"...). I expected something a little more dumb and silly, something I'd "tolerate", but I still couldn't resist it. I'm so glad that I picked it up!First the movie is a little different mostly around Johnny English himself. He's been in Tibet training with Monks to become more in control of himself - but it's still Johnny English so he's pretty easily distracted and silly. My favorite scene in the entire movie is a chase scene that I relate to the old "Pepe Le Pew" cartoons, the guy is jumping around, over fences, between buildings - but Johnny is using his training to remain wise and follow him through more conventional means (instead of scaling down the building the way the guy that he's following is doing, he simply takes the elevator). I laughed out loud at every turn, much to my surprise. There's another long chase scene where Johnny is in a special wheelchair that can go 60MPH. If you watch the extras, you'll see that this thing was for real and not all of the high speed parts were done with a stunt double!Last - watch the credits! There is an AWESOME scene that they cut from the movie to add to the credits, and they did a great job with it. He's cooking and cutting items to the sound of music, and Rowan Atkinson's perfect comedic timing shines through in this scene - it's a must watch!Honestly, if you enjoy this type of humor or especially if you saw the first one and liked it, do yourself a favor and get this movie. Now that I own it I know I'll be re-watching it now and then when I need a good, silly laugh.-D

I was pleasantly surprised by this movie. Quite funny.
I did not expect this movie to be as funny as it is. This movie is not meant to be taken seriously. Reminds me of the Pink Panther (with Steve Martin) as the bumbling agent who catches the bad guy. Fun movie.

The Best Spy Spoof I Have Ever Watched.
Fascinating. I was not a Rowan Atkinson fan until watching Johnny English, and now I want to find out as much about the fellow as I can look up. I had seen the heart-warming Mr. Bean movies and knew they were patterned after another set of mime-character films starring a French actor known for his comedic genius, made some years ago. The Bean movies reminded me of Pee Wee Herman's Adventure, and I put Atkinson in the same category as the star of those films, and held my opinions to myself, neutral. But after watching this very accomplished actor play the part of a smooth secret agent with a flair for doing funny stuff, I can recommend that any people out there who are Bond addicts, LISTEN UP, because you will thoroughly enjoy Johnny English, and Johnny English Reborn. The beautiful women, fast cars, clever plots, admirable villains, elegant backdrops of exclusive European destinations are all here in sufficient abundance to satisfy, and the smooth Johnny English delivers a better product than most of the actors playing serious secret agent roles. It's the most good clean fun that you'll get from a theater experience than any movie on the market, bar none, and will keep you glued to your seat from the explosive starts to the hilarious endings. Mind you, don't make the mistake of thinking this film is a low level B-movie production. It is the slickest produced spy movie that I have seen in years, and I am an official James Bond geek..

Johnny English Reborn dvd
This super film is all you would expect and a bit more. I got the impression that Johnny English Secret Agent was a little more competent than last time: but maybe only a little! He's quite successful; in the end.I do love the Secret Agent's new secret weapon, the use of which had me rolling in breath-gasping laughter. I refer, of course, to the metal tea tray, which is used with amazing dexterity, force, and rapidity, on some innocent elderly ladies [including one rather Specially Important One]. Clearly a "must-have" for all budding Secret Agents. The only ponderable is where to stow it about one's person. But that didn't bother Johnny: he always seemed to be able to lay his hands on one, whenever an elderly lady was around. Maybe elderly ladies attract metal tea trays?Johnny's relationships with "the young lady", and his new male sidekick, I felt were charming.I'm having great difficulty trying to decide which of the two Johnny English dvd's I prefer. I just love them both, and I shall be looking at them again and again.

johnny english good second movie
good movie but not as good as first one. funny and entertaining but not quiet as cringe making as first johnny has been fired and striped of his knighthood he takes refuge in a monestry in tibet and is taught some new moves by them including pulling rocks by his privet parts . he is called back to do his bumbling again. i wont spoil the plot by telling you to much .this time he has a new side kick [not as good as bough from first movie ] he as anew boss played by gillen anderson [my husband says she gets more sexier as she gets older ]. the movie goes along at a good pace and is well acted by all worth having in your collection the there are some deleted scenes in the extras that should have been in the movie but for some reason were left out but the movie is still worth a look

Confusing plot, hard to follow.
Although you will undoubtedly have a good laugh watching this film, it was spoilt somewhat by a confusing and hard to follow plot. The producers seem to concentrate on the individual scenarios that show Johny English getting himself in a mess and then extricating himself from it, ready for the next mess. The scenes were cleverly done but it made for a bumpy storyline that often left one 'scratching one's head' to understand what was really happening. Overall, however, it was entertaining and, I suppose, the bumpy storyline does encourage a another showing just to see if you can make more sense of it a second time.

'Johnny English again balls it up on another mission!'
I bought this DVD to couple up with the first movie. When I watched this film, I didn't know what to expect and comparing it to the first film I felt that as a viewer it didn't have the same sense of making you being gripped by it. Mind you there are more laughs and jokes, especially Johnny English's balls being pulled by a large rock during training in the Far East!I would given the film five stars if the laughs were more belly aching, but I still recommend giving this film a go.

Not Really Funny At All
Johnny English was supposed to be really funny like the 1st one this don't have many laughts in it at all.Sure they is a few good parts to the scenes nothing major to them. The acting is fairly good to the charaters again nothing major to the scenes. What elso can I say this flim needs more laughting moments so you feel it too.Let's say it's an average flim made with little effect to make you laugh your head off.
