I have taken this hat with me around Europe. Super handy to have a detachble front and back to the hat. Mostly keep the front off unless at a campsite with a lot of bugs. I keep the back on most the time to protect the back of my neck which burns easily. Simple pop buttons to attach/detach the seperate pieces. Back and front can be removed for city walking should you want a slightly more sophisticated look.The hat itself is of a nice construction. Breatheable mesh on the top to allow your head to breathe and reduce sweating. Have worn it in light rain too and has kept my hair dry. A fabric sweat band can be found on the inner to wick away forehead sweat.I have also used this in the sea whilst swimming. It stays on your head well even without the chin toggle drawstring. I have a large head and it fits perfect. Doesn't compress too much and has more than enough room to adjust. The rim can be molded to different shapes fairly easily should you not wish to have the wide uniform brim (which I like and looks better personally). The fabric has held up very well in the salt water too (the brim got stiff afterwards so may help with molding the brim should you want to).It's had several cleans in the washing machine and comes out brand new everytime.Highly recommend this hat for camping, hiking and just general holiday/summer use. I look forward to wearing it for many years to come.

This item was very large and did not meet expectations form the Amazon description. This item was overly large and when I tried it on I looked like a character from Mary Poppins.

I want to thank the Asian skin care moms for putting me on to this trend. Just what I was looking for before my next chemical peel. The hat is slightly snugger than preferred but I have a big heat and lots of hair, but stilly confortable. Wish the brim was adjustable like the ones you can bend. Other than that I am happy. Fine wearing sunglasses with it. I use anti fog glasses cleaner. Fabric does have a slight odour. Mask section easily wiped with iso alcohol not too snug.

It really protects you, I can assure. I spent several days under direct and strong sun rays and stayed completely fine. The brims are big enough to provide a good cover for your face and neck. I also recommend using the very handy and versatile neck protection fabric for an even better protection.
