Over 2 Years Later (UPDATE)
PURCHASE DATE: 18DEC16PRICE PAID: $54.97REVIEW DATE: 03MAY17UPDATE: 09MAY19I purchased a Glock 43 and a TucTite Kydex appendix holster (pictures attached). At first, I felt drawing from concealment was an issue because of holster movement due to crappy quality belts. A friend recommended this Blue Alpha Gear belt and I love it. It's stiff but not uncomfortable. I purchased two sizes too big (38) and customer service was outstanding on the free exchange (34). U.S.A. handmade and lifetime warranty (two thumbs up!).Now I am confident my firearm is secure while I am doing anything and drawing from concealment has been a breeze. Only small set back is out of ten pairs of jeans I own, only one that does not allow the cobra buckle to go through the loops. For that pair of jeans I need to remove the cobra buckle, feed the belt, and reattach the buckle to secure. I have worn this belt for almost six months now, daily, and the quality is awesome! (see attached pictures). The belt size is exact to jean pants size. If you become a bit larger you can fix the Velcro and make the belt bigger. I have had NO loose threads, Velcro is still tight and never unlatches, and cobra buckle works great. You get what you pay for and the quality is there.UPDATE: Still own it and have NO issues.PLEASE NOTE: I do these reviews to help people out. NO need to order 1 size up
Great belt! It's exactly what I expected a good low profile EDC belt should be - light weight, rigid, durable and comfortable. The buckle is nicely made, sturdy and crispy, painless to marry and divorce. I am surprised by how slim it is, compared to other bulky gun belt I have.I wear 34 pants. After reading the reviews I decided to order a 36 belt, which turned out to be just too big. I believe it's true 36" and I can put a double stack semi in a IWB holster without adjusting it. The problem is that if I want to wear it without a gun, it will be too big even after pulling the strap to the furthest, which might be 35". There's plenty of space if you want to go larger but not much to go down. So if you wear 34 pants just order 34 belt. I am exchanging mine but this is still a great belt.

Gotta say, I'm liking this belt.
Coming from usgi Nylon webbing belt with a self tensioning slider buckle, this is night and day difference.Coming from an "upgraded" riggers belt, this is still superior, due largely to the added stiffness and the buckle meaning I don't have to unthread the entire end of the belt and take certain edc components off every time I need to undo my pants (worth every cent for almost that reason alone).I'm not spoiled like many critics complaining about how it's not stiff enough for their liking, seem to be, so take my exp for what it is, my own. Yours may vary. It is certainly stiff enough to hold a full size steel semi-auto pistol and holster, and flashlight, and multitool, and phone, and trauma shears, etc... without sagging (well, that is compared to the usgi I usually wore and the riggers belt that was more cumbersome than this). Now to address the most common complaint I have seen: "the buckle doesn't fit".This may be true for some and the complaint puzzles me until I saw someone say they had to put it through the loops on an angle... mine has a fat female end and a thin male end (I'm guessing the newer hybrid style). At any rate, the male end fits through all my belt loops and the only time I have to take the clip off is when I want to thread a Kydex owb onto the belt because the buckle will not fit through the slots. The belt itself is a little thick for my otterbox phone holster to get a decent clip around it EXCEPT for the adjustment area before the Velcro. Also I saw a couple complaints about the clasp not letting go/being tricky at times. It is not supposed to be able to be unclasped while under load. That is a feature, not a drawback. Lightly push the ends together and squeeze the release and it'll come right apart nice and easy.Again, I've been making due with a floppy USGI nylon belt for my edc and my duty gear for years, this is simply amazing. My biggest problem with the riggers belt was having to remove everything from the adjustment side, then trying to undo the Velcro from under the belt loops any time I needed to do my "regular dooty", tuck in my shirt, or drop trou for whatever reason, and have to go through the process in reverse when I was done. The buckle makes down time quick and easy and the pull-up a cinch. Also: I wear 34" waist pants/jeans. Ordered 34", got 34" with enough room to go up or down a size and a half easily, with and without rocking the IWB.I might even pick up another in a different color.Worth the money for me, but might not be for everyone.Thank you for your time.
