This is a brilliant coat. It’s coming to the end of a long wet winter and I was fed up getting soaked walking the dog whilst wearing supposedly waterproof coats, with hoods that are noisy, ill-fitting and fly off in a headwind. I nearly convinced myself that I needed an expensive B***er coat and was in the process of tracking one down on the Internet, when I came across this. I read all of the reviews and as a consequence ordered the coat size small, which is one size smaller than I would normally wear. I am 5ft 8in tall, 40in chest. The coat is still generous in its sizing, but is very comfortable and I could wear it with thick jumpers in the height of winter, or with a jacket underneath if wanted to. I christened the coat on this mornings dog walk in the rain and was very pleased with my purchase. I shall take the wife out tomorrow lunchtime for some posh nosh with the money I have saved. It is well made and extremely good value for money in my honest opinion. Like others have said, buy one size smaller than you would normally buy would be my top tip, as the generous sizing is in the overall width and length not the sleeve length; size small was a perfect sleeve length for me. Might not be as fashionable as a well known alternative, but for what I wanted it for it wins hands down.

I'm a tall guy at 6' 4" and with long arms. I was advised that the Medium with a 192 sleeve, measured from the armpit would be enough. It wasn't, but full credit to Dallas WQear, they changed it promptly for a Large which has 21" sleeves.I still find it only just big enough so wish I had gone for XL. The extra bagginess would not have made much difference to the overall look but have given more 'length' to the sleeves.I also find it a bit short for me as it extends just past my knees.As for quality, no complaints at all; it does the job and has already been used in anger.The supplier is also very good and responsive and I commend them for their service.

I've only had this a few days and I like it very much. Quite stylish. Not tested in serious rain yet. The hood arrived in a pocket and seems fine and compact. This coat wouldn't keep you warm on a cold day, but then it's not designed to do that. Overall this is a decent garment at a reasonable price. If it's not effective against heavy rain, I'll update this review. The instructions advise renewing the wax every year.

After reading previous reviews I ordered extra small (I am a lady size 12). It fits me a treat with room for jumper or fleece and would fit size 14 too. Good coat and a good length to mid calf (I am 5'5") not too heavy either. Would have found slanted pockets helpful to just slip my hands in but I'm sure I will get used to having just the flap ones. Am very happy with the coat and would recommend.

Firstly, this is a really good product, but I only give it 4 stars because there are a couple of improvements that could be made to it.The first would be to include either side entry pockets behind the existing pockets, or (perhaps better) access pockets (to allow access to trouser pockets under the coat). The second would be to add hand warmer pockets above the existing pockets.Other than that , an excellent product !I hope that the manufacturer reads this!

This arrived today and i tried it on and its perfect in fit and ideal for what i wanted . I use a mobility scooter so needed something to keep me dry in the rain . I am a good 26/28 if not a bit more and wearing tshirt and trousers when i tried it on so i,m well pleased with my purchase .Thank You Very Much .

Bought this as zip on old coat broke - ordered this and arrived the next day having paid for express delivery. It is quite long and generous fitting but as the snow arrived was a great purchase. It kept me warm and dry even during blizzard like conditions! Will be very useful as will keep me dry when weather wet when I am walking the dog. Would recommend if you are outdoors in bad weather but not necessarily as a fashion coat!
