I thought the mandalorian 4k transfers were impressive, but they out did themselves here. As the picture and audio is a delight. Even if the discs only have hdr instead of dolby vision like disney plus. If you enjoyed the show and want to rewatch it. This is the way to do it

“Obi-Wan Kenobi: The Complete Series” collects all six episodes of the titular series featuring the returns of Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan and Hayden Christensen & James Earl Jones as Darth Vader. Also returning to the “Star Wars” galaxy are Joel Edgerton as Owen Lars, Bonnie Piesse as Beru Lars, Jimmy Smits as Bail Organa, Temuera Morrison as a Veteran Clone Trooper, Ian McDiarmid as Emperor Palpatine, Anthony Daniels as C-3PO, and Liam Neeson as Qui-Gon Jinn. The series begins nine years prior to “A New Hope” with Obi-Wan laying low on Tatooine, doing odd jobs and trying to keep an eye on a young Luke Skywalker (Grant Feely). Meanwhile, the Emperor’s Inquisitors search the galaxy for Jedi-in-hiding and the Force-sensitive, who they can either recruit to the Emperor’s cause or eliminate as threats. When bounty hunters kidnap Princess Leia (Vivien Lyra Blair), Bail Organa calls upon Obi-Wan for help. This pulls Obi-Wan out of his self-imposed exile and exposing him to Inquisitor Reva (Moses Ingram), the Fifth Brother (Sung Kang), and the Grand Inquisitor (Rupert Friend). Reva seeks to use the capture of Obi-Wan to seize power, playing her own political games within the Empire’s elite divisions.The series neatly bridges the events of “Revenge of the Sith” and “A New Hope” without too much trouble. It leaves room for “The Bade Batch,” “Solo,” “Andor,” and “Rebels,” though it works to help cap off the prequel era and the focus on the Force rather than some of the more everyday stories found in those other series. There are some excellent performances all around, but fans will particularly love the return of Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen, who give phenomenal performances as they know it may be their last opportunities to portray these characters together. Bonus features on this Blu-ray set include “Duels of Fate” examining the lightsaber battles of Obi-Wan and Darth Vader, “The Dark Times: Villains” looking at the lore of the Inquisitors, “Designing the Galaxy” that looks at Leia’s droid Lola and the world-building in the series, and director’s commentary with Deborah Chow. It also includes art cards based on the show.

Very happy. Series was very enjoyable. Does a very good job of showing the changes Obi Wan goes through after Revenge of the Sith while also showing you that no matter what happens, Obi Wan will forever be one of the greatest Jedi ever. Ewan and Hayden did an amazing job. Definitely the most intimidating and brutal version of Darth Vader yet. Only thing I would change would be to make it last longer. Highly recommend to any Star Wars fan. No complaints.

Great Series, purchase while in america, as cannot buy in australia

Reeva, or what ever her name is, made this show drop down. Her acting and the way she delivered her dialogue was off putting to me. Loved everything else in this show.I was shocked that Disney released its Disney+ titles on physical media. It made my day, please release more. I want to collect the whole Disney+ line of Star Wars movies and shows... well, maybe not the whole Disney+ line. The Acolyte was pretty bad.

Can't wait for more content like this where it delves into the stories that round out the characters within, and the galaxy far far away! Wonderful format. Look forward to many years of enjoyment and going through the extra features.

I love this series, I love the character’s, I love the story, I love how the show fills in the gaps on Obi-Wan Kenobi’s life in exile after episode III and before episode IV, and I’m happy to own this series on 4K Blu-ray, but this set would have been worth more getting if it included the “Kenobi, A Jedi’s Return” documentary that was on Disney +, since Disney now owns the rights to the “Star Wars” movies and TV series. I love that both Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christensen along with a number of other prequel trilogy cast members were able to return for the show, and include some unforgettable cameo guest character appearances, which I will not name. You’ll have to watch the show to find out. I really, really, hope that a second season will be made so we can see the continuing adventures of obi-wan’s later life on Tatooine as he gets closer and closer to the older appearance of Alec Guinness in the original trilogy. I give this show a five star rating all the way.

The story was ok, could have been better, but it was fun.The transfer is crystal clear and sounds amazing.
