Cyborg (Galactic Gladiators) Paperback – April 10, 2018

This is a well written book with lots of action and steamy romance. Ever had an implant to control her by the evil Thraxians who used her in the fighting arena. She is also pregnant by Magnus who is the Imperator of the House of Rone. Magnus was once enslaved by the Thraxians and used in the fighting arena also. Ever and Magnus had one night of passion while in their cell but Magnus has no memories of that passion - at least not initially. Now that she is rescued, she is staying with the House of Rone while their healers work on a procedure to remove the implant. They both want to rescue the last Earth woman enslaved by the Thraxians. They have the fight of their lives but they make it out alive. During everything that is going on, they find love and passion again.

I first read it in Kindle Unlimited and then went back later and bought all the books to re-read.Anna Hackett is an amazing science fiction romance author. I feel in love with the Galactic Gladiators series the moment I read book one and each book brings me something new to love.We are introduced to the cyborg’s on the planet Carthago. Now they have popped up now and then to help find the missing human women, but we haven’t really gotten one of their stories; until now.The cyborg’s are a race who don’t feel emotions or have suppressed emotions. They also have physical enhancements that make them unable to fight in the gladiator ring. Magnus Rone, the Imperator of the House of Rone is allied to the House of Galen. He’s a cyborg created and trained to be a soldier and only a soldier. He left his people long ago, but he still believes that his training holds and that he’s better off without emotion and a relationships that could only cloud his focus.He was captured briefly and his emotional dampeners where damaged. During that time he meet Ever Haynes and they came together. Now I can’t remember if we see his rescue in the series or not. I know we don’t get their time together in captivity and I wish we did get that perspective. Magnus got rescued, but Ever didn’t and when she comes back into his life after now being rescued well he’s not sure what to do with the a baby on the way.Magnus feels duty-bound to protect Ever and their baby and the stacks get even higher when Ever is captured again, but amidst the chaos, Magnus discovers that love doesn’t’ make you week; it makes you strong.Ever is a tough women. She’s been through hell and back and hell and back again, but though it all she's fought for herself, her unborn child, and a future with Magnus.I like that the women in this series are all strong. They’re not the damsels in destress. They’ve been through hell and still find a way to cope and find a future on this planet. I like that each relationship has it’s own challenges and that everyone gets their happy ever after. I also like that each book gives us something new and exciting to explore in the world. The author keeps building and adding, which keeps me interested and wondering what surprises might be next. One of the other things I really like is that the author points us in the direction of who might hook up next, without giving things away.Last I’ll point out that this book spins us off into the Galactic Gladiators: House of Rone series which features the cyborg men.Cyborg was another wonderful Sci-Fi Romance read in the Galactic Gladiators series. If you enjoy Sci-Fi Romance then I highly recommend this author and this series.Rate: 4 Stars

Can I just say this series gets better and better!!!! Loved seeing our cyborg find love and purpose! Loved Ever and her determination! Of course the back story is kick ass as usual! Cant wait for them to shut the bad guys completely down IJS!!!!

Magnus is the Imperator of House Rone. A fierce, emotionless cyborg. Ever is the human female Magnus helped House Galen rescue from the elusive desert fight pit. it was fun to read how the fierce little human brought the emotionless cyborg to his knees and boy what a hard fall it was! This series is so exciting, although I don’t agree with any type of slavery the whole backstory makes the series worth reading. Because the gladiators are out to rescue people trapped in slavery and fall in love along the way!

I’m just going thru’ this series like a book junkie. MMC Magnus cyborg, you want to disturb him all the time and get it on🤭, MFC Ever brainy as and will always push Magnus buttons in a good and sinful way😉. I thoroughly enjoyed this read, the storyline was captivating and had me engaged from beginning to end ..again addicted to the series

I devoured Cyborg in a single night and it’s action, adventure, and romance was all a wonderful mix. The Gladiators are getting closer and closer to taking down Zaabha and I can’t wait to see those sandsuckers defeated! With Sam Santos still held captive by the Thraxians the gladiators and other humans are working overtime to locate the fight rings and bring her home. But that’s not Ever’s only worry and since coming to stay at the House of Rone she’s fighting to find the man she remembers inside the cyborg. I really loved Ever’s compassion and her refusal to give up on Magnus. She’s been through so much but she never gives up nor does she cower from her fear. She’s wants to stay far away from Zaabha but her honor demands that she fight for Sam like Sam did for her.Protecting Ever and their unborn baby is all that matters to Magnus and though he can’t remember their night together he knows that Ever is important to him. Magnus was a great hero and his devotion to Ever was so sweet from a character who’s been so stoic. Bred and raised to be an assassin, Magnus is used to being on his own, so opening up to Ever and admitting his feelings is hard but he’s also tired of being alone. If anyone was in need of a hug it was Magnus and I’m so glad that Ever was willing to fight for her man!I won’t give anything away about the ending but I can’t wait for Galen and Sam’s book after that preview we got. I’ve been anxiously awaiting Galen’s story from the beginning and it looks like Sam is going to give him a run for his money. Knowing that we’re approaching the downfall of Zaabha I worried that this series was coming to an end but a note at the back of the book has me excited for more gladiators. And, fingers crossed, the cyborg Jaxer will be one of them.

Ah, the gritty cyborg captured and broken finds a woman who helps him repair. They find peace and acceptance in sharing their bodies and then Magnus gets rescued and with memory gaps leaves Ever, pregnant, in the prison. Then the gladiators rescue Ever and Magnus begins to remember.

Great story,I enjoyed every minute of this book and loved every person in it the end had me in tears ,I was so happy, especially about the baby ,I love the cyborgs and can't wait to read more about them ,I'm looking forward to reading the next book about Galan I've loved him since the start ,I would definitely recommend this book and the whole series to everyone they have you laughing out loud,and crying sometimes amazing books I've loved every one

They get you like a punch in the heart every time, that complicated irresistible blend of Alpha über male and a magnificent large heart for their lady loves, how can anyone resist them.... I know I can’t!

Hopefully I didn’t have to wait too long after my read of the last book as I could hardly wait for this one.Even if it can be read as a standalone as the author gives enough details to comprehend the background story, I do think it is best to have read the previous books to see the richness of this world.So it is Magnus and Ever’s story, Magnus is the imperator of the house of Rone, a cyber enhanced ex-soldier, while Ever is one of the humans who survived their aliens abduction.Ever is pregnant with Magnus baby after a stolen night when he was held captive in the same jail before being rescued and to have totally forgotten their sexy encounter.But now Ever is free, she wants to learn to know who is really her father’s baby and also free the last human woman still in the hands of their abductors and fighting for her own life.With this book, we follow both on their road to discover who is the other, their way to trust one another and their hard path to love.Magnus is damaged by his past and has little hope for him but he tries his best to help the other like Galen for his own house. Those two imperators are strong caring alphas, Magnus will find his redemption in Ever’s arms and Galen’s story is the next one to come.But I’m not yet ready to leave this Gladiators’ universe.

Another rivetting tale of Gladiators and Cyborgs united to bring the last earth person home. Magnus and Ever’s find themselves becoming devoted to each other and awaits the birth of their first child. Magnus tries to keep Ever safe but she is always accompanying him in their attempts to save Samantha.This one is full of action and the descriptions are well portrayed and you can feel the tension in the arena.
