Hip Hop @50: Howard University Conference and Celebration Paperback – 14 Mar. 2024

I love the history that was laid out on the 50yrs of hip hop. This was the era i grew up in and I didn't know the catalytic started the hip hop movement. I applaud the authors on the education. Just amazing 👏🏾

This book approaches Hip-Hop from an angle I've never seen before. The way the authors tie music from previous eras, economics, revolution, education, fashion, entrepreneurship, community etc and the research to back it sheds a new light on the impact of Hip-Hop on a global scale.
