If you are a decent DIY'er these will save you a fortune
I was a bit fed up of buying the whole wiper units for my Toyota Landcruiser - its also not great for the enviroment. When I was a kid I remember being able to just swap out the actual rubber so though I would give it a go - I've managed now to replace all the wiper blades on a Mazda MX5, A Toyota Landcruiser and a Ford Fiesta. It is a little bit fiddly to do but very economic.
