Not impressed with the sound overall; the bass is distorted, not even at full volume (which isn't much I'm afraid). Here's the big flaw; I bought them because I was impressed by the separating into a stereo pair feature (so much so that I ordered them here in the UK and paid all the extra shipping and duties). When the units are operated at a decent volume they dance across the surface and eventually make their way to the edge of the desk and onto to floor. This happened already on day 1 with one half - luckily nothing broken but I will have to be extra careful where I place them otherwise they won't last long. The flashing lights on the bass speakers at the ends are annoying but these can be made solid although I'd prefer to switch themm off entirely! I note that one side goes red when charging but the other goes pink! After unplugging I'm left one lit and one not! Don't know quite what's going on there but, hey, they're made in China and they're not Bose or Sonos. Not worth the price I paid here in the UK but prob acceptable in the US.

I bought this because I need a speaker move around while I work. I love that it splits into 2 speakers and I can have the music in 2 different rooms at the same time. I like that when I'm done using it I can connect them back together. Sound quality is good.

I received one last year for a gift and enjoy it enough to buy one as a gift for a friend this Christmas.

I purchased this product because it advertised all the qualities, Id hope for in a portable speaker. High-definition loud volume, deep bass subwoofer, microphone, water resistant, and it has the ability to halve itself for a 360-degree surround sound effect. Shopping through Amazon is always very convenient, fast and came packaged properly with enough cushion. This product seemed like it was going to be, the answer to all my speaker needs and wants and then some.
