Before your purchase, please check your local rules. If you are unsure about the terminology, just email us. $29.95 gets you a choice picked block of wood, labor, shaping, weight, sanding, supplies. It gets you ready to race BODY knowing that the car is correctly made and will make it to the end of the track. Saves you time, money, and headache. 100% times better than any other $20 store bought rough cut kit. Still plenty of things for your cubber to do! All bodies offered by us have the following work completed on them: Precut- We already cut the design. Low profile, reduced drag. Every .001" counts in PWD. Front end tapered so that you can actually start down the track before others. Weighted-- We have weighted the bodies to around 4.3oz with lead and a COG between 1/2-1" in front of rear axles. Wood putty to weight holes Sanded: We have handed sanded the bodies to 220 grit prior to shipping Pinewood derby car with either BSA slots, drilled BSA slot distance, or Drilled Extended wheel base (your choice). Some variance in design will be associated with the extended and BSA distance axle locations. We try and show each difference with pictures. These bodies are ready for your primer and paint! Some additional sanding may be needed depended only your choice of finishing. BSA slot will be sent if you do not specify wheelbase. Exchanges will be at buyers expense.
