I was an original Clazio Backer on Indiegogo and when the gen 1 unit was received, it fell short of living up to its features completely (OK Google and Alexa integration). It was however, a great Android tablet with a nice speaker and we used it to play music in our basement and watch over our home cameras as needed.Bought the next gen unit, and i was impressed with the improvements made including the speaker and display. Works much better. Having a remote to play/pause is a great addition compared to the Google Home/Amazon Show units. Bonus is the ability to run most apps from Google Play including YouTube.Overall a great unit. We have it setup in our Guest room for news, music playback and light control. Easy to use and good response time.I have both the Clazio Spark and Google Home unit and overall find this unit much more functional. Just wish the price was more in line with the Google Home unit..

My first impressions out of the box were that this thing is a lot cooler than I was expecting it to be. The form factor is the perfect size for sitting on the kitchen counter or for using it at the bedside. I was originally going to use it in the kitchen but it may now go into the bedroom. The sound quality is surprisingly good for something this size and the screen is sharp and crisp. The remote is a nice touch. The one thing I would have liked to have seen on it is charging via micro USB or USB C but it has a regular type plugin. That being said it probably comes down to the fact that Clazio wants to make sure that people don't use it with generic dollar store USB chargers.Update:After using this for the last few months I wanted to update my review. I still really like this toy, it has a lot going for it but is lacking in other areas.Pros:Crisp sharp screenAmazing sound for its sizeIt's a android tablet so any Android app will work on this.Works with my smart home devicesCons:The Alexa app is a slow and it's not the same as a stand alone Echo. I has limitations that the standard echo doesn't have, I can't think of them at the moment but there have been a few times where it has told me it can't do that.Bottom line of you're looking for a full featured tablet with a great screen and a booming speaker this is a great addition but don't expect it to replace an Echo.

This unit is good for use we use them as Android alarm clocks. The only thing we have had a problem with is we have a section of the screen that the touch part does not work. Being I bought them before Christmas online and then we didn't figure out there was a problem with it until after the return ability. Of the manufacturer would reach out to us this would be great. I have 3 of these and we love them but felt a loss on our last one we bought since it is defective.

Clunky interface. Alexa and Google don't respond well. Clunky interface for doing everyday tasks.

Don’t waste you’re money. It took me forever to use and special features are trash. The speaker is OK and that’s only good part of it. Don’t get me started on the camera.
