These are a bit tight on my calf and I wouldn't say I have large calves. I'm hoping that they have a bit more give over time. They do shrink in the wash. In the pic of the black socks, you can see the one washed on the left is smaller than the unwashed one on the right.Overall, they are soft and comfortable (though maybe not if you have wider calves) and will work great with some taller boots I have.

These socks are thin enough to fit well under footwear. On the bottom end of the size range, they are a bit snug. Wouldn’t expect them to be comfortable over sizes 7–8.

I like the color options, perfect for basics. These socks are lightly cushioned which is great as I don't usually like too thick socks. I also found they slightly too tight around the calf leaving marks on skin after wearing for some time.
