Areaware Table Tiles Optic (black), Pine

Beautifully designed set of six coasters. Either this 'Optic' version, or the solid colourway varieties. Although you should be aware that Areaware... are charging eighteen dollars on their US website. That's just under thirteen pounds for the set of six ( As of 3rd April 2018 ) But for us Europeans - it's twenty pounds. That's just unfair and puts this item resolutely in the category of a luxury. At three pounds and thirty pence for a 'tiny' tile... that's exorbitant... for what is essentially, a very inexpensive MDF printed novelty. Fun to rearrange and for those with a design fetish, it's nearly irresistible. But know that you're paying a high premium for your location.

I love the look of these coasters and the design is fun to play around with. Everyone seems to enjoy lining the set up so that the lines form patterns!Unfortunately, they're about 25% too small and any drinking vessel has to be carefully placed as result of this. You can see from the picture that I uploaded that a champagne flute fits relatively well, but the mug for my coffee? Not so much.

We love these and tempted to get some more...definitely more interesting than your usual coasters. The only thing to note is that they are quite small with them just about fitting your standard sized mug.
