Amazing especially for heat flashes at night

I really like the idea of this pillow and can tell it'd help with how I sleep on my side, if only it were thicker. As it is now, I'd need a second pillow for this to be of help, and finding a thin enough pillow, oddly, is expensive for anything that isn't terrible.Positives:-Feels well made.-Soft cover.-Good amount of support from the memory foam.-Shape does help keep arms from going numb when laying on your side.Considerations:-To test this, I folded up a towel to get it to a good height. This wasn't ideal as the pillow and towel obviously move independent of each other. However, I used it this way for a week and felt that the pillow would help most people with narrower shoulders than me. I'm 6 foot tall and have broad shoulder, so obviously I need a thicker pillow.Negatives:-Strong smell, which is the reason for 4 stars. It took a week for it to go away. I want sure about the foam structure but after reading reviews I decided to try it.I have an old neck injury and have tried too many pillows to count!I was starting to get pain radiating down into my shoulder after fighting with the previous pillow.This took a few days to get used to but after a couple of weeks the pain is gone. So thankful I finally found a pillow that supports my neck and it's great for side sleeping too.

I wanted to see if an ergonomic pillow would help me sleep better than a traditional one. I’m not so sure this pillow is for me. I didn’t have any neck pain with it, but if you like to change sleeping positions like I do (I move from back to side to back quite often) it becomes bothersome because of the curvature where your head sits. I found myself having to readjust the pillow so my head would fit correctly every time I moved, where with a traditional pillow I would just turn and be done with it. I’m not saying this pillow is bad, it just doesn’t work for how I sleep.

Daddy O’s review- I was excited to get this to help relieve neck pain from my pillow. It feels good to the touch but doesn’t really work well. It’s made for extremely long necks, mine is on the long size and doesn’t sit right in it. Says 4 different positions or heights but that’s if you flip it over and then it is very uncomfortable. The quality of it is good but the sleep and pain relief did not work for me- Oscar

Full Disclosure: I received this product at no cost for evaluation through Amazon Vine program.I just tried this pillow out for a nap and was surprised to find it very comfortable, with some minor caveats.It works fairly well for lying on your back with your head in the middle facing straight up. You can use either the front or turn it around and use the back to support your neck.On my side however, I found it too thin to support my neck without putting another pillow underneath it to raise it up some. I am not a huge man. I wear medium shirts and a size 40 coat. When I tried this pillow while lying on my side, my shoulders raised my head up too high to rest it comfortably, and with my neck aligned. I had to put a thin additional pillow underneath this, but this in turn raised it up a bit too much for when I was lying on my back. I had to choose.
