I usually start with this for red snapper fishing as its easy and quick to fish. Fish are gonna hit it quickly if they are for the day, so I know within about 10 minutes if its working that day. On its first trip, I got my two snapper and a big king fish.

Being a bucktail guy I had a hard time with these.....was introduced to these by my bait and tackle guy. I slow pitch sometimes so i tried on a whim. Tried the 110 based on size loved the vibration and action but wasn't happy in the ocean 60 - 80 anchored (targeting black sea bass) wanted to try it out for fun and wasn't working how i like due to current. Since I typically use a 4 oz in those conditions I bought the 150s... the presentation was much larger than I was expecting. Too big in my opinion for what I normally target, fluke. Maybe just personal preference So I bought the 130 and I'm happy seems to be the right balance for me size and weight.

After using the 1/2oz for inshore wade fishing, I've come to the conclusion that this is what I was missing in my life. it is made of a very durable plastic the holds up to toothy fish like flounder, trout, and others, and it has 2 spots to attach your line. One on the front for straight retrieves or bouncing off bottom like a paddle tail with a jig, and one on top for vertical jigging. The lure vibrates when moving and glows in the dark which is a nice feature. I've caught tons of fish on it and I've only taken it out on 2 sessions. I lost one and was heartbroken because its pretty expensive for a single lure, but trust me when I say this. IT. IS. WORTH. IT.list of species I've caught with this lure in only 2 trips so far:- Black Drum-Red Drum (Redfish)-Flounder-Spotted Seatrout-Alligator Gar

Catches all kinds of rockfish, halibut lingcod you name it.

Jig it deep or mid column and hold on!

This is a great looking lure, although it is a little pricey. Swims great in the water, fish love them.

Purchased a while back and to date haven’t managed to catch a fish with it. I primarily fish the surf so maybe that’s the issue. I will try it inshore next spring
