This paw balm is a great way to safely and effectively protect and nourish your pets paws. I love the texture and easy application of this balm. My dog loves this stuff too and willing allows me to apply it to her paws without any mess or fuss.

I have a border collie that has notoriously crusty feet. Her paw pads can scrape your skin up worse than her nails do. I got this paw wax in hopes that it would help soften her super crusty toes and I was not disappointed. I love the ingredients in this wax and love that it comes in a deodorant-like tube that make application very easy. The wax is very soft and is easy to apply without having to press hard or warm it up first. I haven't noticed it leaving any nasty oily spots on the furniture either, which is a definite win when my girl has to be next to me on the couch all the time. I am quite happy with how this has improved her paw pads in a short amount of time. I have no complaints at all!

My oldest, largest dog has always had dry, cracked pads and I haven't found anything that really works for her. I think the issue is that she has paw pads that are at least twice as thick as any dogs I've every had or seen. They are ridiculous.I recently found this balm and have started putting it on her. Because of her age and arthritis, there is no issue finding a time where she is conked out on the couch for a long enough period that I can apply this without worrying she is going to lick it or get up and walk around. I don't think we've been trying this long enough to notice a difference yet though.The balm comes in a chapstick like container that is paper on the outside and plastic inside (the balm tube and cover). I find that disappointing. The image description states that this this is "climate conscious" and that the packaging is "responsibly sourced" to "reduce environmental impact." There is no plastic that is good plastic.I do appreciate that the scent is very light and disappears as the balm is rubbed in. I am very sensitive to smell and this doesn't bother me at all.Overall, I like the product so far and it seems affordable.

My dogs have rough pads & this balm is the bomb! The tube looks & works like a big chapstick. Much larger than I expected. Easy to apply & effective. I'll purchase again.

This Rhino Wax healing balm variety is formulated to address paw pad pain a dog may have from walking on rough surfaces or maybe dry, cracked pads from the winter's cold. The tube package is very innovative - after removing the cardboard top and protective cap, twisting the lower portion of the tube pushes the balm up to the top. It's a lot like the old push up ice cream sherbet.The balm is a nice consistency and it smells great too. My dog has sensitive paws and didn't mind me applying this balm to his paws that were cracked. I feel better knowing that this product is "lick safe," and that inevitably will happen. The tube is about 6 inches tall and it fits in the hand nicely. I love using this applicator because it allows transfer of balm directly where it's needed so it can be massaged in. I don't end up getting more of it on me than the dog.This balm is Made in USA. Ingredients are clearly printed on the label - and you can pronounce them!

This nice product (Rhino Wax - Healing Dog Paw Balm) has a formula containing only 6 ingredients, and 4 of those are oils (castor, almond, soybean, and rosemary oils). The product comes as a paste in a tube. I scoop out a small amount, maybe the size of a quarter, and apply it to one of my large dog's paws. (His paws are consistently dried and cracked.) The paste liquifies immediately when I apply it to the paw. It is easy to spread on the paw pads and in between each pad.Since the product is primarily oil, the product is of course greasy, so to prevent greasy paw prints on my carpets and floors, I put socks on my dog's feet and secure them with self-adhering bandages. I leave the socks on for an hour or 2 until the product absorbs well into the paws.The product immediately softens and moisturizes my dog's paws as soon as I apply it. I am hoping that with twice daily use I can get his paws to heal up completely over the long term.

Like others mentioned, I was surprised at the size of this tube, it's good for it's value. I applied it to my dog's paws twice a day for a few days and didn't see a complete resolution to the cracked or rough patches on her paws. I do like that it comes in a stick and is easier to apply compared to a tub but as for effectiveness, I think it performs about the same to the next leading brand.
