I got this for my daughter and her friends to play with during her sleepover and am not that impressed with it.The stuff wasn't the easiest to use and didn't show up as well as I thought it would, at least in most of the colors.On top of that, it wasn't something they could play with on their own.The chalk breaks off easily, making it something you have to brush in their hair yourself.The little combos aren't the best tools to use either.They kept getting caught in her hair and were almost impossible when applying to their roots.Another complaint is that causes an extreme mess.Her hair felt like someone saturated it in hairspray, making it hard to brush and causing several tangles.On a positive point, it is easy to wash out and did come in a variety of colors.Although it came it a variety of colors, I am overall disappointed in the quality so wouldn't personally recommend it.

This could not be easier to use. I have had some messy chalk in the past and this is far from that. U honestly just take a section of hair and comb it and ur done. The colors are vibrant and beatiful! One of my daughters has blonde hair and the other brown and it showed up on both. Although obviously more so In the blonde hair. Still beatiful either way. My 7 year old can do it to himself. It washes out easy too!

Very hard to apply to shorter hair. Not nearly as vibrant as expected.

I can’t get enough of this fun trend! Hair chalk is where the party is out. This pack has many colors and really inspires fun hair inspiration. Works well for camp like color war and more.

Got for my five year old to have temp dye for superhero costume. The red works well on his blond hair. Haven’t tried the other colors yet.

This product is slightly soft chalk, and leaves chalky residue and chunks in the hair. My daughter's natural hair is so pretty, and this made it look unbrushed and dirty. It is not like hair dye. Feels like the hair is covered in hair spray, though you do not spray, just "brush" or draw it in. The big plastic brushes were pulling hair and would not allow me to get near the roots of the hair, so I ended up pulling the colors out of the brushes, and just drawing it in like coloring on a chalkboard. It could take hours to draw all the strands, and really impossible to get everywhere. The one advantage is you can draw any of the included colors anywhere in the hair, and it won't drip to unwanted areas like dye. This coloring does wash out fairly easily. However it did not come out very well on this poor dog my kids colored, thinking it would come off easily. Unfortunate it is messy and takes so much time to apply for such short use. I would've given it a 2, but my daughter says give it a 3 for all the color options. Next time I would use a temporary hair dye instead.

This hair chalk does not come off on pillow cases or furniture. The only problem I ran into was different hair textures. My daughters have very straight blonde hair so it showed up fine. My nieces on the other hand have very curly hair and it did not seem to take on their hair as easily. Some colors show up more that others.
