These are absolutely gorgeous. They look so cheerful and attractive, while being lighter in the hand than conventional plates. Nowadays I am happier lifting melamine than heavy stoneware - especially when serving children who might drop them. Eating outside is a breeze with these dinner plates, they are a pleasure to use.I wash them up by hand, but they are dishwasher safe. They feel 'warm' already so don't need to be heated before using, they absorb the heat of the food gently, and everything tastes delicious from them.

Brilliant I love this updated melamime - light but sturdy unbreakable and gorgeous pattern to look at every use. Didnt even know it still existed as first use was 1968 but great for oap &arthritic hands

The plates were good quality but decided on something a bit cheaper. I still haven't received my refund a week after returning items. Not very impressed!

Super cute, sturdy plates! Melamine feels just like a plastic plate, but sturdier. Not too heavy, but has some weight to it. Love the design! Will be using as indoor plates!

Love them and so do my guests, look like heavy terracotta plates but are wonderfully light and don't break, and come up a treat in dish washer.

Bought long shaped one ad well. Really pretty and fun for out door or indoor.
