fits well, keeps flies out
Horses seem very comfortable in this mask. It's lightweight, stays on, doesn't rub. Lightweight material not as heavy duty as heavier nylon mesh masks for horses that rub their faces a lot, but these masks are nicer in every other way.

Love it for riding but not for the pasture
This is a great mask for riding as it fits smoothly under a bridle. It seems that my horses like it and don't mind it being pulled on/off. One of my horses hates the traditional stiff fly mask and runs away when he sees it, but didn't react at all to this style. Sadly, I tried it in the pasture and both horses had it off in minutes. Either they rubbed against each other or rolled on the ground while wearing it resulting in the mask being pulled off over their ears. As it slipped down (but not off), it left them blinded as the lycra material is not see through. Luckily I was standing there and my guys allowed me to pull off the masks without too much panic. I would not use this in the pasture again for that reason but will continue to use it for riding or in-hand work.

Trail horse’s friend against bugs
Decided some sort of fly protection necessary after so many deer flies bothering our horses on trail rides... I looked at several different types & brands before choosing this one.. I liked the idea of it just sliding on, no Velcro & being Lycra, non-bulky under bridle.. I’ve had crochet fly bonnets but wanted “something else”. They came in cute plastic containers, a plastic bag or cardboard container would've made more sense but oh well.. I ordered the horse size as anything cob or Arabian sized never fit my Arabians! That said, maybe these are a tad large but a non-issue given I sorta went w what reviews said. The go on easy enough, don’t appear to be able to come off like the crochet ear bonnets when horses shake & I may end up cutting a spot for the horses forelocks to come through.. dislikes & durability? No serious dislikes on company’s end, cover might be a tad large on my one horse ; durability, we’ll wait n see. So, yes, I’d order these again if necessary

I freaking love this. Oh, so does my horse.
First, let me say I generally hate fly masks. My horse had an eye procedure done recently due to the horrible flies. He needed a fly mask, so I bought one from the regular feed store. I hated it. It didn't work for my horse because it rubbed the bridge of his beautiful little face raw. I also couldn't see his eyes because of the thick meshing. So, I took to Amazon to find exactly what I was looking for. As usual, I did. This fly mask I love. It's comfortable for my horse, I know he can see, and it's a really adorable on him. I'm buying another one right now that's how much I love it. It also keeps the flies out and it doesn't constrict anything on his face. Unlike most of the other fly masks that come with impossible wrinkles, this one came out of the box perfectly and fit him like a glove I know he's way more comfortable in it and that is what matters to me the most.

CUTE AND GREAT BUT MIGHT NEED TO REPLACE EVERY SUMMER
I used this product for my gelding, Hank and my mare, Alice. They are both in separate small paddocks right next to each other. There is nothing in the paddocks for the masks to get ripped on. I loved these fly masks, but they got really stretched out and got tore up a bit after one summer. Now everytime I put the masks on them they manage to get them off in a few minutes. They were very comfortable with these masks thought and the masks did their job. But you will probably have to replace these masks every summer and I don't think they would hold up well in a big open pasture with things to get caught on. But if this mask was caught on something it would probably slip off leaving your horse uninjured. I really loved this mask, they looked great and weren't to expensive, but they get stretched out and torn easily.

Great for riding!!
Besides my horse looking like a giant bug this mask is great! My gelding is such a baby when it comes to bugs we struggle to ride outside even on “not so buggy” days in the summer months. I use this under my bridle during riding. I wouldn’t use this for turn out instead of a heavy fly mask; as I do feel it would rip easily (especially if in group turn out).. but that’s not why I purchased this mask so I can’t say for sure. Very light weight and comfortable under bridle! My boy doesn’t seem to know it’s even on. Tested it on a long hack the other day and he was comfortable and bug free! Would highly recommend to others for riding!! We previously had a quiet ride fly mask but this definitely works better for us.

Lightweight and easy for horses to see through
They can get them off if they work at it. One of my horses has managed to get a hole in the net around the eye that I will have to try and repair.

Best all around
Only fly masks I use. My horses only wear them during the day in their stalls when the flies are worst. They fit great and are very breathable. No issues with sweating or rubbing hair off. The only thing I wish it had is a forelock hole. My two year old has a forelock almost to her nostrils and it makes it difficult trying to stuff it inside the mask.
