I stopped doing art altogether, for almost 50 years and then recently was reintroduced to the joys of just relaxing with art. But sometimes I just don't feel creative and I thought this might be fun something to do where I don't have to think. Maybe something to do while I'm on the phone. Anyway on a whim I ordered this.I didn't really look at the measurements when I ordered and when the canvas it arrived I realized the canvas is much bigger than I expected so it's not something I'm going to be able to complete in a day.The design itself is actually pretty intricate so when they say adult they mean it but then again maybe not so old that you may end up needing a magnifying glass. Seriously some of those areas to color in are very small. They do provide you with multiple brushes including the tiny brush to do these small areas, if you can see them.The instructions are not very clear but instructions to anything are never really clear anymore. On the curve we are on right now the instructions are okay. I did Google tips for paint by number and found a very short video that was helpful.I started out painting last night with one of the colors. The coverage seems fine and I think I'll probably get away without having to do any touch up. The paint seems a little thick but for some of the very small areas that might be preferred.They do provide you with some hardware to hang which I show in one of the pictures but first you would need to attach it to a frame which is not included.I'm not sure how I will end up attaching it to a frame. They don't provide any instructions or materials for that. I'm thinking maybe I will just get a plain canvas, or a used one at a thrift store and cover it with this one, maybe attach around the edges with staples. But by the looks of this it'll be a long time until I need to think about that. So for the price this was when I ordered it, less than $10 it's a really good value.

This is a cheap paint-by-number (PBN) kit, so keep that in mind. It is fine for what it is and quite typical of most other similarly priced kits. Do not expect great quality. What you can expect:1. a folded canvas2. no frame. You can buy one on Amazon or at most craft stores3. cheap brushes. I recommend buying some mid-quality brushes, especially a tiny one for detail if you plan on doing other PBNs4. not-so-great instructions. It's a PAINT-by-NUMBER. You pick a color of paint, & then paint it onto the corresponding areas with the same number. What other instructions do you need?5. tiny areas. Use a magnifying glass or just paint over some of the tiny areas with the color surrounding it.6. numbers might show through lighter colors. Just apply another coat of paint.7. not-so-great paints. It's a cheap kit. You shouldn't expect high qualityLike I said, this is a TYPICAL pbn kit. If you don't like the quality of this one, then paint-by-number isn't for you. The only real thing to complain about this kit is that the colored reference image is quite small.

This paint by numbers looked so pretty on the listing. When I received it, the canvas was folded up and I'm unable to get it to lay flat. I have tried to iron it and have pressed it for days under heavy objects. It still ha fold marks and doesn't lay flat enough to actually paint it. The canvas also would need to be streched onto a wood framed canvas to skillfully paint it.The painting guide that comes in the kit is microscopically small. There's no way to see what number the smaller areas are. It would basically be a self guided paint by numbers. 'I didn't even open the paints because the canvas is unusable.This is a no go. Just not user friendly and there's no point in trying to paint a canvas that was folded up.

This by far has been the worst product that I received!!! Look at the pictures and you can see how cheap this is. The photo that you are supposed to reference when you are applying the paint is less than 2". The canvas is very cheap and the directions are no help! I do NOT recommend this product. I wouldn't want to buy this at any cost. At first, I thought this was a joke. No - I am not impressed with this product in any way. I wish I could say something good about it but i would really be stretching in this one. I tried to be as descriptive and honest as I could to help you make an informative decision. I hope this helps someone.

The kit itself is very nice quality, I must say. The canvas is large and it arrived loosely folded in a plastic bag with the paints and brushes, a guide/chart and a teeny tiny color image of the completed work. Maybe there are some people with microscopic vision who will be able to make out the details. Not me!Maybe there are also people out there with enough dexterity to precisely dab a teeny tiny amount of paint into a teeny tiny, numbered space on the canvas. Not me!If you are extremely exacting and detail-oriented and you like doing really fine work that will take a very long time, this is for you. Not me!I will be donating this to a relative that I am mad at. It will serve her right.

Did not expect this to be so detailed and intricate, it's listed as "for beginners" but this is an intermediate project at the least. Quite a few of the numbers are hard to read, but the seller has a digital version that's much higher resolution that you can ask for so you can zoom in and see what it's supposed to be. The paint (hard to believe this is all the paint we'll need for this huge canvas) seems like very nice quality, the pigment hasn't separated nor has the base, and the paint comes all vacuum sealed so it'll stay fresh. This comes with everything except the wooden frame for the canvas, so you'll have to make your own or find an alternate way to show this off, and I definitely think it will be worth doing so, as it's going to be beautiful when it's finished.
