Too expensive considering...
It's alright. The heater keeps a place 20 degrees warmer than outside. I wouldn't recommend it as a primary heat source in Alaska. Any place colder than Oregon, and you should save your money. If you live in the Northwest and the rain is heavier than the snowfall, it seems reliable.Do the math. If the weather is 32 degrees during winter, the heater will keep it around the 50s. I have a butane heater, and keep around tanks just in case it gets lower than that. Never forget this thing is meant to be a secondary heat source. It should cost around $60 because of that fact.

Very good for the price
I bought this for $106 in September to replace a nine year old infrared heater (different brand) that would never shut off anymore. Was a little concerned at first opening it, thinking I received the wrong model since the buttons were all gray instead of different colors, like it was shown. But it works up to our standards so not a real big deal. We tried Duraflame since a friend mentioned she liked hers a few years ago. We use it to heat our whole upstairs, which is about 900 square feet. We needed our nine year old to be comfortable up there since only 1 room upstairs is heated for some reason. It is as powerful as I expected and keeps it comfortable up there, which is impressive since it is January in Minnesota. Even after 20 below wind chills a week ago it kept it cozy up there. It actually feels more comfortable and toasty upstairs than it does on our main floor, which is natural gas hot water heat. Would recommend buying this when it is not actually winter time, as the price goes up once it’s winter.

Duraflame - one of best room heaters
Fits under my end table in the Living Room and with the temperature I have set, it keeps the room comfortable. I love that it has a remote so I can raise / lower temperature without getting my lazy butt out of my chair. It functions as advertised and is one of my best purchases this season.

Works great. Keeps the temperature set point.
Perfect. Needed a unit that would retain its previous temperature set point when you turn it on. Many of these heaters reset their setpoint when you turn them off and so every time you turn it on you need to reset the temperature, which is an added hassle. This one can be set and then just turned on and off. Nice cabinet, sturdy, and seems safe. Decently quiet. It's large, but that contributes to the sturdy, safe, and quiet.

Nice and toasty
One of the best purchases I've ever had for taking the chill off around the house. Works great for the recommended room size. Some people that are complaining think it's supposed to heat your whole house. It's perfect for the bedroom or living room.

So far this heater is easily heating to larger rooms
So far this heater is easily heating to larger rooms. We had bought a cheaper infrared heater but think there must have been something wrong with it. So replaced it with this one. So far it's all good. It's a little louder than our other heater but not horribly loud. Like it so far.

... it a few times but so far it works great. Puts out a lot of heat
Only used it a few times but so far it works great. Puts out a lot of heat. I got it for $86. Thinking about buying another one for a gift. I notice the price keeps jumping up to over $100 then in a few days it goes back down????

Well constructed, safe, powerful, worth the price
Have had this for almost a year and it is solid, heavy, well-made, very warm and even rolls smoothly. It's a really nice surprise finding something like that nowadays.
