This is a life-changing book
This book has absolutely changed my life. It has helped me beat depression and become a better human being both personally and professionally. I just needed some help in understanding and controlling my own mind which this book did. And the most important thing it did was connect the dots between the scientific theory and the practical in order to be more in control of my feelings and emotions and to make better decisions each day. This is the most powerful self help book I have read - I can’t recommend this more for anyone who wants to improve their life. If you are not fully satisfied or reaching your potential and you know it, read this book, make notes and form the habits and traits that make us better human beings! Thank you so much Ryan for your insight - it has changed my life!!

Life changer
I used to make excuses like I’m sure most of us do to not accomplish my daily tasks whether it be working out, meal prepping or even doing laundry. I’ve caught myself saying it’s too cold outside to go for a run or the store is gonna be too busy, I’ll go after work tomorrow. This book has changed my entire mindset and made me realize that the smallest choices can have huge, long-term implications. If you’re looking for a way to take yourself out of it lull if this book I read, you won’t regret it. #choices #mtc

Good information, delivered in a practical way
Good information. Mason delivers some good practical information on how to organize your life. From business practices, healthy eating, healthy lifestyles and mostly how our brain gets in our own way. I don't know that I would follow all the advice here, but there are some good gems to take away from all of it.

I have read this book twice and recommended it to at least a dozen friends.I describe this book as "A HUMAN PERFORMANCE MANUAL."This is an easy-to-read book that is backed by the right amount of science and stories to keep the reader fully engaged.In addition, there are "actionables" all throughout the book that the readers can incorporate into their lives.Enjoy!!!NOTE: I wrote the same review under the other title of this (same) book "Master Your Mind."

Well written and lots of reference material
Excellent book, written like a recipe, follow the steps and reference the book. Looking forward to implementing the action bias and CEF.

The grammar is atrocious
Pros: The content of the book is really good and a must read. Very detailed and interesting.Cons: the grammar. I cannot fathom how this book was released with so many grammatical errors. In his book, he literally said Larry Byrd...TWICE! There are several errors throughout the book. I hope this guy fired his editor, and for the love of all things holy, please find out who Larry Bird is if you're going to use him as a reference.

a lot of A-ha moments
Okay, So you know about our second brain the gut.you know about about fit or flightyou know about dopamineBut do you know the ins and outs of these? Do you know the pathways and how we can switch these on or off. If your reading this book no doubt you know a thing or two of the body. I found when reading this book there were so many "A-ha" moments as Ryan really connected a lot of the dots. I honestly can say that this out of all of the books I have read in years on self help and health, is my favourite.Honestly for the price, Grab the book.

I really enjoyed reading this book - I'm a big believer in one's ability to alter performance and health by addressing your physiology, and already had some strategies that I use but this book gave me more. Ryan bases everything on science, and I learnt a lot about vagal tone and other aspects of gut health and physiology that I didn't know. Brilliant book for self-discovery but packed with evidence-based ideas on how you can optimise performance.

Great book
Very well written, I found it very motivating and helped me get out of those “low” phases where I tend to do a lot of procrastinating. I enjoy the science detail, however, sometimes he doesn’t explain the science very well, or in a way an average person reading this book can understand. That makes it confusing and feels like I’m missing something some of the time, but don’t want to spend my time researching some medical/scientific terms. Other than that, very well explained ideas and science throughout the book
