I’m a professional groomer. I took a chance on this blade with so many becoming wildly overpriced, and coming dull or damaged. This blade ships in a hard plastic case complete with a foam insert to keep it secure. The Wahl brand ones have been shipping in cardboard with flimsy plastic over it, which often rips in shipping and the blade falls out. The base is a little bit thicker so it does make your trimmer a tad heavier but you get used to it. The blade came sharp and has stayed consistently sharp for weeks. I also use my 5-in-1 blades under the Bravura snap on combs, so my blades get a LOT of use, so I was very impressed with the longevity of the blade. All my coworkers have ordered this blade now and are happy with it too! The price is amazing and the product is better than what we’ve all been spending double to triple on.

These work perfectly. My blades from whal sucked and rusted easily but these ones don’t stop working after a month and don’t rust as easily. They’ve lasted longer than the name brand ones that came with my clippers. Very happy about them. Although they are the tiniest bit smaller than whal. So the guard combs I have aren’t as snug as they were. They still work and stay on but they slide on and off VERY easily. So be a bit careful not to snag on a knot or anything or the guard may come off.

The blade was only used to trim the face and feet, but after a week of use, it got stuck and could not cut perfectly. It was a complete waste of money and I will never buy it again.

I like these blades better than the Wahl 5 in 1's. They're easy to adjust and they cut really well. I've bought 2 gold ones, 2 silver ones. I like the silver a little better.

Professional dog groomer here. This is a great substitute for the name brand! I've found the xlade cutting quality is as good as theirs. Although, it sometimes pops off. Maybe I got one that was not measured properly. But in a pinch I'd buy one again.

I was skeptical but I used this brand new, and a brand new Wahl blade in the same session, and the difference is incredibly clear. I've been frustrated with Wahl 5 in 1 blades not lasting very long at all especially since the price has doubled since I purchased my first Wahl 5 in 1 clipper in 2011. Since it's difficult to find people who will attempt to sharpen these, I go through a lot of them. I'm grooming a miniature poodle and a standard poodle, and most Wahl blades barely make it through one session with my standard before they're shot. I groom every 6-8 weeks and touch up face/feet/sanitary every 3-4 weeks, so it's a lot less use than a pro groomer.

These clipper attachment did my cordless Whal Bravura very well. They fit snuggly and glide through my toy poodle’s hair very easily. I do my own grooming, so I don’t keep him up-to-date and looking smart all the time lol. I need clippers that work on the fly so I can trim the rats out of his hair and getting him to look sort of presentable. I highly recommend these clipper attachments. I also like that they are adjustable on the heel of the clipper head. Very nice product.
