This is a GREAT set of water beads! Can't go wrong here .... variety of colours and sooooo many included!

I water "inflated" them in a bucket to wash before putting it in a container to put the plant or flower in.They get very big.Nice colors but somewhat muted.They do not sit quite to the bottom of the container so you see the stems.Very light weight.Once there is no water they "deflate" back to a very small size.Watch how much you are using as it can be a bit deceiving when you get them in the container.

I love the look of these water beads in a vase and was thrilled to find some that are multi-colored. When you receive them, they are tiny hard beads but, follow the directions on the product page and you will have a vase filled with very large multi colored beads. Put a flameless candle in with them or fairy lights and you have a professional looking center piece. Make sure you only put a small amount in a vase and then see how much they grow. The first time I used some, I put quite a few. I added water and they GREW but weren't quite transparent. I added more water and had to get a second vase out. I ended up with three large vases and could have added even more water. This set comes with enough to do a center pieces several times with some left over. One thing to note that i did the first time - don't include live greenery in the vase. The water will cause the greenery to rot and grow a mold that is not pretty to look at. Another thing to note is if you let these sit long enough in the vase so the water evaporates, they go back down to a smaller size.
