I should’ve got this a long time ago, rather than continuing to fiddle with the normal 55 gallon drum lid and hasp. So much simpler, saves time, prevents corn from getting wet (which would often happen when removing the original lid, because it would hold water), looks like it should last for many years.

I like the durability of this clean, fits right over the septic cap and works great!

Better than I thought it was going to be. thick and sturdy. We love it !! Now our burn barrels wont fill with rain water and rust out so fast.

I bought two (2). They work as they were meant too. BUT take the time and file down the edges. They are sharp!

Like many people hereabouts I use a burn barrel to dispose of oversize cardboard and wood scraps during burning season. Unfortunately, the bottom rusts away from rain and snow sooner than I'd like. These storms also wet any unburned contents which hastens rheir demise. Covers don't stay on in windstorms which occur frequently here. This cover, although somewhat pricey (what isn't anymore) is of smooth. heavy grade, galvanized metal with a generous lip and has worked well for me. I also plan to get another for a 55-gallon waste holder drum at my woodland picnic area. I'm very pleased with this product and highly recommend it.

I got this last Friday and out it on a blue plastic barrel what has the top cut off. Fits perfectly. slipped right on with a snug fit and stayed on during high wind thunder storm. The only thing that would make this better is a handle but I can add one easily. I plan to order more to cover feed storage barrels to keep the mice out.
