Look great hold the gate firmly. They are strong enough to do the job and very happy with them.

The T door hinges are very well-milled, nicely finished, and operate smoothly. The black matte finish goes well with other hardware for my project and the size is perfect for 2x4 or even 2x6 lumber. The set of four 8" T-hinges are priced at $26 at the time of my review, making them a very good value for the money given their quality and functionality.

I used these to replace a broken hinge on my chicken coop. The hinges are smooth and are holding the door well. My only complaint is that the screw heads strip pretty easily. I stripped two of the screws just putting them into 1/2 inch plywood. I recommend going slow and applying plenty of pressure.

Had to use different screws. All of them stripped immediately either with screwdriver or drill bit.

I'm happy to report these are very well made, have a nice black finish ad good amount of screw holes for secure attachment.I'll probably get some longer screws/lag bolts for the wooden gate I plan on using these on because it's so big and heavy. I'll also need the use of a good strong guide wire put to the top of the gate and a wheel at the bottom to further support it. This gate was built for a grooming shop to specs to prevent dogs being able to jump over it for safety reasons, it has a massive interior frame with 1 inch thick plywood casing, it's very heavy duty for sure and was built to last! LOL. I figure with 3 or 4 of these hinges it should be good!And I'll use some good outdoor black paint to seal it all up well from the weather too. At the regular price $38.99 per the listing for the 6 pack of these heavy duty 8 inch hinges is a good buy!As always I only do honest reviews and will update if needed. These 6" T-gate hinges from ‎HTHOOOOOME are nice and thick. The black powder coating is nice and thick as well. The information states that the coating is "anti-rust, with excellent corrosion resistance", I am counting on that statement because everything develops rust over here in Hawaii in time. Each hinge has a package of eight wood screws for mounting. I will be installing them onto a pair of storage room doors that so far, no hinges have lasted for more than about six years. These doors are in our carport and NOT exposed directly to rain or sun... so we will see how well they hold up.As for the 6" size and thickness of the hinges, they will do very nicely on my doors (which will have three hinges each). These storage room doors are about 7ft x 3ft and 1/2" thick. It's great that these hinges have a large 270-degree swing, this is more than I need but it's nice to know they will at least swing open all the way without any restriction coming from the hinges. They are quiet on the swing but nothing that a little WD-40 can't fix if there is a squeak later on.This set of six heavy-duty 6-inch T-gate hinges (with mounting hardware) is a great deal and I feel they are a better quality than the ones you might get from the big box stores at a higher cost. It's a great purchase.
