Clumpy & Clumping Disappointing Blue Mica Powder without Instructions or Directions :-(
I am a mica powder novice. I was really drawn to this color that was noted as "Neon Pigment Powder" that was "Highly Fluorescent" and "Iridescent". It shows an electric light blue almost like the water on a white sanded beach. This Mica came in little clumps. I've added photos with and without a flash. When added to my Resin, this was not neon or iridescent or fluorescent -- it's just a standard basic blue and mine had the added bonus of clumpy dark blue lumps since I had to idea what ratio to use or how much to mix it to dissolve the clumps but avoid creating too many bubbles.I also tried the mica in a thicker resin and also in a very thin layer of resin to see if the color changed by depth of resin -- but the darker blue clump color remained constant. It would have been helpful to have some instructions or directions and I would have appreciated a fluorescent, iridescent or neon blue. If it were possible, I would have rated this a 3.5, as I'm sure I can find some use for some of it. Hope this helps! :-)

It's just an okay mica powder.
I used this mica powder on my resin heart frame. As you can see it's very green!I am not a fan of this mica. It's lumpy and difficult to mix into the resin. Even once you get it mixed in, it takes a ton of stirring to get all the lumps out. If you look at my picture, you will see darker spots in the resin - that's the mica that didn't mix in properly, despite me using a drill with a mixing paddle and mixing it for 5 minutes.

Vibrant and extremely pretty
This powder is so vibrant and stunning. It is so bright and pretty. It looks fabulous in resin projects. It is easy to use and goes a long way. If you are looking for a quality pigment powder, I recommend this one!

so vibrant
I'm half convinced this stuff is its own light source. I can't show a picture because it doesn't really show up well on camera but this stuff is absolutely vibrant and bright and almost painful to look at. A little goes a long way and is perfect for adding bright touches to blacklight projects or epoxy projects. The price is good for such a large tub of it as well.

Very Bright! But Clumpy.
I love the color - vibrant and bright! However, it was very difficult to mix in with the resin. No matter what I tried, I could not get it to completely mix in. I finally gave up trying and just poured it. You can see in the photos that there are clumps in the piece. These are very thin pieces and there are clumps throughout. That being said, they don't look bad. But if you're going for a smooth look - like you should with mica powder - it's disappointing.

Neon where???
Someone else said too that this isn't super bright neon and fluorescent as it claims to be. I agree. The jar looks exactly like it does in the product image! But mixing it into resin..it only looked neon while I put the uv light over to cure it (2nd pic). The moon...I put wayyyyy too much - which wasn't much at all. I ignored what I know which is " very slowly add minute amounts of colorant to whatever your mixing and add more as you watch the process. I was just so excited cause the blue is so beautiful! Wellllll - as you can see - that is like almost navy blue!! I wasn't expecting it!Like someone else said, the powder is in little ball clumps. I prob should have started like one ball at a time.Anyways, for the star, I put clear liquid resin in a cup and took a very small amount from the dark blue leftovers from the moon I made and stirred. That obviously made a big difference..still not neon though at least not in my opinion! The tulips and the crystal, I added some blue glitter I had. the crystal looks brighter than the star but I think any "neon effect" has a lot to do with that glitter! So. You get a decent sized jar and the quality is good. Might get better results if you play around more. This is just what I concluded. Last pic, look at the color in jar vs mixed with resin.

ALMOST neon
An extremely fine powder that gets everywhere if you're not careful! As seen in the pic, you'll have different results based on what material you mix this with, so plan on experimenting - both in terms of vibrancy and clumpiness. I'm still figuring out how to properly and consistently mix this into fishing lure-type rubber. In its purest form, it's not quite 'neon', but certainly a bright green. I look forward to experimenting with this beyond the basic green - I'd suggest trying one color with whatever material you want to use before diving in headlong to the whole rainbow.
