Perfect for travel

I really wanted to keep this but the sports bottle sipper part was too annoying. I prefer a straw or a big hole to gulp. I never liked old school water bottles. It collapses great and is sturdy when drinking out of it. I ended up giving it to my mother for our cruise to Italy. It didn't bother her. I went with another style but it doesn't collapse as easily or nicely as this one.

This bottle is a godsend when travelling. Saves you money because you can fill it up at water fountains instead of buying expensive airport/ food court drinks.

First off I'll address the rubbery smell in other reviews - it's definitely there and I couldn't make it go away with hand washing, but a run through the dishwasher took care of it. Overall, though, I didn't love using it. It's susceptible to changes in temperature so water doesn't stay cold for long. Although it has the white grip around it, it's very pliable if you touch it anywhere else, which results in water squeezing out. I also had trouble getting the silicon cap to stay on and the pop spout to stay closed. I would not trust this not to leak in a bag and would only put it in a backpack if it were empty.

Got these for when I travel.I washed in soapy hot water as the instructions state AND that’s just common sense. I let it sit in the soapy hot water and then repeated it a few times. There’s no weird plastic smell folks complained about.

Sorry to say the water tastes bad after being in this container.

I purchased this water bottle to avoid having to carry one of the popular double walled tumblers on a recent trip. I used it on the plane and then used it every day in meeting at my destination. The hard plastic collar in the middle keeps you from squeezing the bottle and getting water everywhere. The fact that it folds down into a bottle the size of a coffee cup is a bonus. It worked very well for me. This is an honest review, I purchased this with my own money and have no affliation or compensation from the vendor.

Overall, this is a very good collapsible water bottle. When collapsed, it is a small size and has a carabiner to attach to a backpack. It was a little wide to fit in my water bottle holder on my crossbody bag. The main downside was that the silicone lid tore off easily. It’s a good water bottle for traveling or hiking.
