Easy to figure out UI. English instructions read like 1st pass ai translation.
I bought this unit to replace a similar unit from a different manufacturer that stopped working after less than a year. The unit feels very sturdy and I really like how easily it comes apart for cleaning. However, the controls for the device are not at all detailed in the instructions, nor is there any mention of where the extra handle that comes in the package goes. For the controls, from left to right you have* "Fire selection/DIY" button: The Fire selection lets you adjust the heat, but the device only has three heat settings, low, medium, and high. I haven't done any experiments to see how these translate into temperatures. The DIY button simply lets the user set the timer manually* "Western Cuisine": This button cycles between the 4 "programs" on the left side of the machine "Bread slices/Luncheon Meat " "Chicken breast/Bratwurst" "Prawns/Salmon Fish" and "Steak/Omelette" It looks at first that these simply set the time for these dishes, but I haven't tried them yet to see if it adjusts temperatures or not.* +/- buttons: This adjusts the timer from 1 to 99 minutes, I don't know if they have any effect during the programs. The "Dial" in the center looks to just be decorative but may light up during the programs.* "Chinese Cuisine": This button, like the "Western Cuisine" button cycles the machine between the 4 programs on the right side of the machine " Egg Pancake / Pancake" "Pie/Flatbread" "Crusty/Chicken Wings" and "Kebab/Nutfruit"* " Pan selector knob": The "on/off" switch for the unit, it has three choices, "Off", "Lower Pan", and "Double Pan". these are pretty clear. So far I've only made bannocks in the machine, using "double pan", setting the heat to medium, and the timer to 12 minutes. The machine worked great for that.To sum up. It seems like a robust machine but has no clear documentation on functionality. Temperature control is minimal, and the preset "programs" shouldn't be relied on until tested by users.
