Drill bit No 10
No 10 masonry bit. Excellent drill bit. It drills holes in masonry. Good value for money.

Brilliant quality
Excellent quality as you would expect from Dewalt....needed this to drill some very thick concrete. After using for about dozen holes it's still in good condition so definitely great quality and value for money

Great
I concur with other reviews, it indeeds goes in bricks like a knife through butter. Used it to install steel reinforced 10cm wall plugs to fix a stone shelf.

Good, but flawed
This review is not just about the 10mm bit. In fact it applies to all of the DeWalt Extreme SDS bits in larger sizes. They are good bits. Decent quality and they cut through concrete, brick and breeze blocks well enough. So why the mixed review? Well it's the shape of the cutting end. Instead of being "pointy" its flat with a small dimple on it. That really doesn't matter when you are drilling a hole straight off into some undrilled material. But what if you are needing to drill a (say) 16mm hole in some concrete? You probably drill a pilot hole first with a smaller bit - say 8mm. And then move up to the larger bit. And that's when this is not ideal. With a "pointy end" - technical term :-) - the larger bit doesn't sit properly into the pilot hole and dances all over the place before starting to cut. It's not the end of the world, but I had a load of 16mm holes to drill and found this to be a right pain. Honestly, I'd have purchased different bits had I realised this in the first place.

Great tool by Dewalt as usual
Needed this to drill holes for inserting DPC rods ((Dryrod). Took 10 minutes to drill all the 10 holes. This includes the time for cleaning the holes and brushing the dust away. However - the drill came in a large carton. 70cm x 20 cm x 10 CM. So much of packaging waste. see the attached picture.

Best drill bit for concrete!
A good tool makes a difference and was very impressed. Very sharp and durable and cuts through concrete with ease. As a recall the price was also good

Super Bohrer für den Preis - Note 1
Der Bohrer geht in die Wand wie ein heißes Messer in Butter. Super saubere Bohrlöcher und auch Granit hat hier keine Chance gehabt. Note 1
