Very easy to install. I used copy paper for size. Just tape the paper over the window, continue until the entire window is covered. Tape paper together as you go along. There's your pattern. I did not over lap and cut in place. Wasteful and easier to make a pattern.I used my quilt cutting board for cutting straight lines. Box cutter to cut. Put tape on the corner of the smooth side, pulled, backing came off really easy. After cleaning the window spray the window and smooth side of covering with water. I used my grocery store savings card to smooth out the bubbles. Not much color even in direct sun but soooo pretty. I'd love to put on all my windows. Makes me smile. The red thing in the photo is my red outdoor umbrella. You can also see the grass in my yard. I still think there will be enough privacy.

This was easy to install. It looks great ! And it keeps the UV out and the heat.

I needed to block some light on a full-panel glass door to help avoid furniture fading. This went on fairly easily, but keep in mind, that I have installed window film several times. I would say that this is trickier than the heavier, more opaque films, and I t may be a bit difficult for a first-time user. I will have to wait and see if it protects the furniture like I’m hoping for. It did come with a bit of a kink in the roll that left a mark in the film. I assumed I could blend it out when installing, but I was unable to do so. It’s not major, but I’m a perfectionist, so it does bug me a little. Overall though, I’m pretty happy with the results.

Ordered the black one way. I have never installed tint so was nervous. Watched a couple of videos and used water mixed with baby shampoo. Sprayed a lot on the window and tint when applying. It was so easy. Doing all of the windows on my house.

This was easy to apply and stays intact. Blocks view but not light.

Impossible to work with! Can’t get the film off! Then it sticks to its self, the whole roll is in the trash!! Wasted $25.00 if I could give it a negative star I would!!

So, did the product work? Yes. Was is as advertised (frosted texture)? Yes. However, is it as usable or reusable as they claim? Absolutely not.Now, for some out there who are fortunate enough to have a properly-built and maintained house, this could work as a temporary solution, maybe even a permanent one. For the rest of us, however, this is barely usable at all.I received it, cleaned the window, and installed it on the window. First major issue: THE FILM COVER DOES NOT COME OFF CLEANLY!!! I had to spend a good 15 minutes just working with a knife at the corner to get it to peel, pulled the film cover off, then put it up only to realize that around 1/5 of the film cover had ripped and remained on the film (where there were no knife marks or cuts made, by the way). So, with the film half-up on the window, I had to spend another 15 minutes working with a knife to strip away enough of it to place on the window. I got the film on, but that leads to the second issue.If your windows are even remotely leaky, even a little bit, this will not stick on the window. The main allure of a cheap, static-based film like this is for rentals, where you want a bit of privacy on a budget without the landlord screaming at you about adhesive. The problem with many rentals is that they're generally poor in either construction and/or maintenance, and this is no exception. The window that I attempted to add the film apparently has a tiny air leak in the top-left corner, which immediately blew the entire film off of the window almost like paper, and this is after soaking both the window and film in water with a spray bottle. I get it, this is a static film, but the air current in question was so minimal that I could barely feel a current on my hand during a windstorm.Finally, this film is not at all reusable. I wore gloves from start to finish, I cleaned both windows, and the second window (which was leak-free) that I tried to apply the cut of film to in order to salvage it didn't take at all. I soaked both the film and the second window with a spray bottle, I applied it from top to bottom, and it just kept peeling off.It's thankfully not too disappointing, since I spent less than $30 on this, but it's still a bit of a letdown. Buy this only if you KNOW that it will work in your circumstance.

Good, easy to install... Does the job I will order more for my larger windows.
