I am a financial advisor and constantly in front of clients. I have some fairly pricy ties in my closet, but I also have a dog with nails that were meant catch silk and destroy "pretty things" the moment I walk in the door.So off I went on a hunt for "cheap" "expensive looking" ties. This fit the bill perfectly. I have received numerous compliments on this tie. It looks like it belongs next to many of the higher priced ties in my collection. I have used it quite a lot recently. When tied it produces a fairly thick knot (Full Wind) but has enough length to compensate. I have had other ties from Amazon that tie even thicker knots to the point that I can't use a full wind.This is well rounded tie all-in-all. If it was a $50 tie it would be 4 star. Given that it costs $15 ... can't give it anything less than 5.Note - One person described this tie as "yellow" over "gold." All I can say is, the tie looks identical to the picture. I'm wearing it right now with a white shirt, blue subtle pinstriping, and it is about as gold as it gets. It goes perfectly with the pen in my pocket with gold accents. (I'm really not snobbish I just like to look good :P)You won't regret this purchase.

This was the perfect tie for the groom on our wedding day! It’s an impressive quality tie for the price and he got compliments on it from the store he bought his suit from!Only word of caution: it does NOT come with the pocket square! I tried having Amazon replace the product to have the pocket square included but that shipment didn’t include it either. We got a solid light silver tie from Tiemart to match it instead.Other than that we couldn’t have been happier with this tie for my groom!

in fairness I can't give this tie a 5 star because I would have to hold those for the best ties on the market and this isn't quite at that level (i would rate an XMI 5 stars), however, I am very pleased...I stared at these forever and finally broke down and bought one to test the quality...a little history on me...I love my tie collection and am rather picky...I usually wear: XMI, David Donahue, JW Nordstrom, Robert Talbot, and Bloomingdales Signature Line (another good tie for a lesser price)...this tie arrived and I was shocked that it had a thickness that rivaled very expensive ties...additionally, it knots very well and holds a crease perfectly...I have received quite a few comments about the tie which says a lot...not sure how it will hold up over time as I think it may fray a bit easier than the ones I usually wear and listed but for the money it doesn't matter...since I am so selective about my wardrobe and especially my ties it says a lot that I am buying a few more of these...I think you will be very happy with any purchase you make from this manufacturer!

I paid $13.99 for this tie, and it is a bit overpriced in my opinion. I probably won't buy more. Amazon has cheaper ties that are better.Pros:1. Good dimple under the knot.2. Very nice fabric - it has a satin sheen, and the stripes are woven in, not printed. It has a slight ribbed texture, similar to silk Jacquard fabric.Cons:3. Amazon Prime has cheaper ties that are higher quality.4. BAD TAGS and packaging. Cutting off the tags was risky, I had to do it carefully to avoid damaging the tie.5. Not much variety.6. I only gave 4 stars because the tie is cheap. A nice $50 silk tie is way more than 1 star better, it is a whole different ball park.

Just received my order today! These ties look exactly like the pictures. I ordered the Silver Stripe, Black Stripe and the Yellow Stripe "The yellow is my favorite". The shipping was fast and the service was excellent. I would recommend and will purchase more ties in the future. The email's I received were accurate. Jeffery Allan ties are of a great quality. Guys! your lady will be proud to show you off and your teenagers might not mind being seen with you in public. "I know that last one requires a bit of faith. I can see myself using these ties for business,weddings and going out on the town. The price on these ties are great. I bought two of these ties for a wedding, and they were great. The material has that smooth polyester feel, and the tie is very shinny (in a good way). The pattern is very classy and goes with any occasion. The gold color in the picture is very accurate, so you can plan your outfit even before the tie arrives in the mail. I'll definitely buy ties from this vendor again. All of that being said, these are not Armani ties, so don't expect the quality of a $200 tie.

I wear a lot of high end ties with my profession but I needed a red tie for a wedding. I decided to get a cheap one through amazon because I didn't care too much about quality. Well let me tell you that this tie is awesome. It's really thick which means that it has a good solid knot. The color and quality is great as well. I am going to go this route in the future and save some money. Great tie at a great price.
