The quality of the socks is as I imagined - fine - however the sizing is a bit off. I ordered a large and the fit on on my foot is correct (I'm a UK 9) however, they will not stretch to go over my calves so I'm a bit stuck now really as I can't use them for football or rugby. I think I have normal sized calves (at least no one has ever mentioned them being noticeably larger than anyone else's?!) so perhaps a size up although, I am a 9 and they fit well on the foot.

Good quality sports sock
Nice sports socks, only reason that it is 4 star and not 5, is there are now anatomic (left foot, right foot) socks that are more fitted with less excess material around the toes. The material used and cushioning does make this a comfortable and good quality sock.

Overall a good product for the money
Warm and comfortable, a good fit on the foot and stay up well even over my very large calves. Durability is reasonable, as you'd expect at this price range there's a few loose threads after a couple of weeks of use but only a few, overall a good product for the money

Not worth the money
I'm struggling to find socks for my son to go over his hockey shin pads - normal football socks are too tight. These do stretch over the shin pads, but having only been worn once or twice a week for a couple of hours each time for about a month, they already have a hole in them - wouldn't buy again
